- The official language of Egypt is Arabic, however, English and French are spoken all over the country.

- Currency in Egypt is the Egyptian Pound, which is roughly $1 to 18 Egyptian Pounds.
- The weather in Egypt is amazing pretty much all year round. Temperature varies from 20C/68F in the winter months to 45C/113F in the summer months.
- Best time to dive is in the summer months as water is lovely and warm at around 28C/82F. Water temperature is not cold in the winter, it is roughly 21C/70F.
- Visibility is between 30m to 50m all year round.
- Getting there is simple. Most large airlines and even budget airlines will fly to the large cities including Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. If you arrange to travel to Egypt using a travel agency, then they will usually arrange a transfer directly to your hotel.
