  • The official language of Egypt is Arabic, however, English and French are spoken all over the country.
  • Diving in the Red Sea falls nothing short of epic, with stunning marine life, beautiful thriving corals, not to mention the sheer variety of sharks.
  • Currency in Egypt is the Egyptian Pound, which is roughly $1 to 18 Egyptian Pounds.
  • The weather in Egypt is amazing pretty much all year round. Temperature varies from 20C/68F in the winter months to 45C/113F in the summer months.
  • Best time to dive is in the summer months as water is lovely and warm at around 28C/82F. Water temperature is not cold in the winter, it is roughly 21C/70F.
  • Visibility is between 30m to 50m all year round.
  • Getting there is simple. Most large airlines and even budget airlines will fly to the large cities including Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada.
