Garmin has introduced the MARQ Diver as part of its third-generation MARQ watch collection, announced on October 13, 2026. The company says the new model supports scuba diving, apnea, or breath-hold diving, and snorkeling to 131 feet (40 meters).
The Diver joins five other models in Garmin’s luxury watch range. According to the company’s guide to the Gen 3 changes, all six watches have leakproof buttons and the same 131-foot (40-meter) dive rating.
A Larger Screen and Titanium Case
Garmin lists a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen, a color display with pixels that produce their own light. The watches use Grade 5 titanium and sapphire glass, while the Diver adds a finely adjustable strap. Garmin also lists boating functions for the Diver, including autopilot control.
Messaging Above Water
The Gen 3 collection adds built-in inReach connectivity for communication above water. Garmin says the watches can exchange messages and share locations by satellite beyond mobile coverage. They also support SOS alerts to Garmin Response, the company’s emergency coordination service.
An active plan is required. Garmin warns that coverage varies and that satellite and SOS functions have limitations that can make them unavailable in some situations. Its MARQ connection requirements explain the restrictions and regional availability.
Collection Pricing and Battery Life
Garmin’s launch announcement puts the Gen 3 collection’s starting price at $2,500. The company also claims up to 18 days of battery life in smartwatch mode.
