A secondary diaphragm membrane maintains steady intermediate pressure regardless of depth or tank pressure. The first stage is built from black chrome plated marine brass, which holds up in saltwater over years of use.

Port layout gives you real flexibility:

• Five low-pressure ports at 3/8" threading, enough to run primary second stage, backup second stage, drysuit inflator, and BCD inflator without adapters or crowding
• Two high-pressure ports at 7/16" threading, angled to route the SPG hose cleanly without kinking

The first stage is available in Yoke or DIN configuration. DIN threads directly into the tank valve and is preferred for high-pressure cylinders and technical applications. Yoke fits the standard A-clamp valves common on most recreational rental cylinders. Choose based on what your cylinders and dive sites use.

Dive Rite has the XT1 pending CE EN 250 certification for cold water performance at up to 4,350 psi (300 bar) service pressure.

The Second Stages: Primary and Backup, Set Up to Actually Work

Both second stages are pneumatically balanced downstream valves with Teflon-coated internal components and housings made from ABS plastic and carbon fiber. Each has a venturi lever for dive and pre-dive positions, plus an inhalation effort adjustment knob so you can tune sensitivity to your preference or conditions.

What separates this package from a generic two-second-stage setup is how the hoses are configured:

• The primary second stage runs a 40" (102cm) hose with an angled adapter. That length is the standard technical diving convention for out-of-air emergencies: you donate your primary to a panicking diver, who gets the long hose and can swim ahead of you toward the surface, while you switch to your backup.
• The backup second stage runs a 22" (56cm) hose and sits on a bungee necklace at your chest. It stays tucked under your chin, out of the water column, and is immediately accessible with one hand.

If you have only ever dived with two second stages hanging loose, this configuration will feel different. It requires some adjustment and ideally some practice. But it is the setup that actually works under pressure, which is the point.

The SPG: Readable, Routed, Out of the Way

The included Mini Tech SPG is a 2" (5.1cm) brass gauge with a luminous dial reading from 0 to 5,000 psi in 100-psi increments. It connects via a 30" (76cm) hose and is designed to clip to a chest or waist D-ring rather than dangle freely.

A clipped, routed SPG is a small thing that makes a real difference. It is where you expect it, it does not snag on anything, and checking your pressure does not require hunting around for the gauge.

Nitrox Compatibility

The entire system is nitrox compatible up to 40% oxygen. If you are already enriched-air certified or planning to get there, you do not need to upgrade or modify anything. Just confirm your cylinder and fill are appropriate and you are ready to go.
