What You Are Getting

The Tajaman is built around a 95 mm (9.5 cm) double-edged blade made from tempered stainless steel with a black Teflon coating.

That coating does two things: it reduces corrosion from saltwater exposure, and it cuts down on glare underwater, which matters when you are spearfishing and do not want to spook fish.

The blade runs a combination edge. One side is a smooth, sharp cutting edge for clean cuts through line or mesh. The other side is serrated, which grips and saws through tougher cordage or rope that a smooth edge would slip on. At the base of the blade there is also a dedicated line cutter, a notched slot designed to hook and snap monofilament or thin line quickly, even with gloves on.

The blade shape is a drop point, meaning the spine curves down to meet the edge at the tip. This keeps the tip strong and less likely to snap under lateral pressure compared to a needle-point blade.

Handle and Carry

The handle is also stainless steel, with grip texture on both sides. It is ambidextrous, so it works equally well in your left or right hand.

Saltwater left sitting in the scabbard will work on any metal over time, even treated steel.

The Tajaman carries a one-year warranty from SEAC.
