If you are a recreational diver looking for a first full-face mask, the Neptune III Basic is a sensible starting point.

Fit and seal
The mask body is a technical polyurethane shell. The face seal is silicone rubber, which is the part that sits against your skin.
Ocean Reef uses an "S" shape bellow profile in the seal. That lets the silicone flex and follow the contours of your face.
A six-point strap harness spreads tension around the back of your head. You do not need to overtighten the harness to hold the mask steady.
Because this is the Small/Medium size, it is aimed at smaller adult faces. If you are between sizes, the seal matters more than the strap. A full-face mask has to seal evenly all the way around.
Breathing and clearing
The second stage is a balanced, vertical-body Neptune III regulator built into the mask. A balanced regulator is designed to keep breathing effort steady as cylinder pressure drops.
It is cold-water CE certified, so this is not only a warm-water mask.
Inside, a dedicated oronasal pocket separates the mouth and nose area from the main visor. That helps reduce fogging and gives water a smaller area to occupy if the mask does flood.
The design is intended to be hard to flood and easy to clear.
Who the Basic is for
The Basic is the simpler entry-level model in the Neptune III line. It does not include the optional Surface Air Valve, which would let you breathe at the surface without removing the mask. That is an add-on if you want it later.
This mask is a good match for recreational open-water diving, sport diving, and light underwater work within recreational limits.
It is not a technical diving system. If you plan overhead or technical dives, choose a purpose-built setup instead.
If you want a simple full-face mask with a wide visor and a cold-water-rated second stage, the Ocean Reef Neptune III Basic covers the essentials without added extras.
