The NR-2000 runs at 2,000 lumens for the full 90-minute burn time with no gradual dimming as the battery drains. That matters more than it sounds: many lights at this level quietly fade over their run, so the consistent output here is a genuine practical advantage.

The beam angle is 6 degrees, which is a tight, focused spot. Underwater, a narrow beam cuts through the water column well and reaches into dark spaces at distance, but it does mean you are illuminating a concentrated area rather than flooding a wide scene. For wreck interiors, cave edges, or night diving where you want to direct light precisely, that focus works in your favour. If you want broad ambient illumination across a coral wall, a wider-angle light would suit you better.

Run Time and Battery

The built-in lithium-ion battery is rechargeable and included in the box, along with the charger. You are not buying a light and then hunting for proprietary cells before your first dive.

Who This Light Is Not For
