Golden Rock Resort is pleased to announce the next step in strengthening the diving and hospitality experience on Sint Eustatius through the integration of Scubaqua into their operations.

This development brings together some of the island’s most recognized names in hospitality and diving, creating a more connected and enhanced experience for visitors to Statia. The management of Scubaqua will remain actively involved in day-to-day activities, continuing to contribute its local expertise, trusted team, and longstanding relationships within the diving community.

The integration ensures continuity for existing Scubaqua guests and partners, while also creating opportunities to further develop dive tourism on the island with expanded resources, upgraded guest experiences, and long-term investment in the sector.

Scubaqua has played an important role under the leadership of Marieke and Mike within the diving community of Statia for many years. We have great respect for the history and reputation they have built. By bringing the operations together with Statia Divers and the Golden Rock Resort, we aim to preserve that legacy while further investing in the future of diving and tourism on the island.
