DJI announced the Osmo 360 II on September 3, 2026, an action camera that shoots 360-degree video in 8K at 60 frames per second. On its own, the camera is only waterproof to 33 feet (10 meters), fine for snorkeling, not for scuba.
For deeper dives, DJI plans a separate Osmo 360 Invisible Waterproof Case rated to 164 feet (50 meters). DJI hasn’t announced a price or release date for that case, and it isn’t included with the camera at launch.
What It Shoots
The camera uses a 1-inch high-dynamic-range (HDR) sensor and records 8K/60fps 360-degree video, 120-megapixel 360-degree photos, and 16K time-lapses. Both lenses are removable and swap out if scratched or damaged.
Battery and Storage
It weighs 6.5 ounces (183 g) and has 105 GB of built-in storage. DJI rates the battery for 100 minutes of 8K/30fps recording, with fast charging to 80 percent in 22 minutes. An optional battery stick adds another 180 minutes.
Price
DJI’s German launch listing prices the Standard Combo at 589 EUR and the Adventure Combo at 739 EUR, with several accessories sold separately. Full details are on DJI’s site.
