Why buy from Amazon?
Amazon has a documented Prime delivery program that covers millions of items, and that is the most concrete order-related support behind buying here.
Worth knowing
Some customers report slower replies or needing more follow-up than expected when they asked for help after ordering. If an order needs post-purchase support, that part of the experience is not always smooth.
Some customers also report delivery problems after ordering. That keeps follow-up and delivery as the areas to watch if you place the order here.

Why buy from House of Scuba?
House of Scuba publishes a defined return process for eligible items, including when credit or a refund applies and where fees or exclusions can affect the outcome. If you want the retailer's own terms in place before ordering, that is the most concrete reason to buy here.
It also states a continental U.S. free-shipping offer with exclusions, so the order terms are not left entirely to guesswork. That does not guarantee every item qualifies, but the policy itself is part of the buying case.
Worth knowing
Some customers describe friction around returns or refunds, and some also report slower replies or needing extra follow-up when they asked for help after ordering. Read the return terms closely before placing the order, especially the condition, packaging, and fee limits that can change the result.

Quick Facts About Zeagle Zena Women's Buoyancy Compensator
- A back-inflate BCD designed specifically for women’s bodies, not just a scaled-down unisex fit.
- The twin waist-and-hip band system positions buoyancy and weight around a woman’s natural center of buoyancy, below the waist.
- Zeagle’s patented PFS system lets waist size, chest size, and torso length be fitted independently for a genuinely personal fit.
- Weight integration holds up to 24 lbs (10.9 kg) in releasable pockets, plus 16 lbs (7.26 kg) in non-releasable rear trim pockets.
- The bladder delivers 31 lbs (13.6 kg) of lift, with two rear dump valves for easy buoyancy trimming underwater.
- Squeeze-style side-release buckles on the shoulder and waist straps make getting in and out of the BC straightforward.
- The Bx Power Inflator unscrews to accept a standard garden hose, so rinsing the inner bladder is genuinely simple.
- A good match for recreational women divers who want a purpose-built, properly fitted BC they can grow with.

Zeagle Zena Women's BC: A Back-Inflate BCD Built Around the Female Body
The Zeagle Zena is a back-inflate buoyancy compensator device (BCD) designed specifically for women, not adapted from a men's design, but built from the ground up with female anatomy in mind.
If you are a recreational diver who has struggled to get a good fit from a standard BCD, or who has noticed that your current BC rides up, digs in at the waist, or never quite sits where it should, the Zena was designed to solve exactly those problems.
Why Standard BCDs Often Fit Women Poorly
Most BCDs are built around a male torso and then scaled down for smaller sizes. That approach misses something important: women typically have a shorter torso, a defined waist, and a lower center of buoyancy than men.
The result is a frustrating compromise. To stay secure, a conventional BCD has to be worn at the narrowest part of the waist. But for good trim and balance underwater, it really wants to sit lower, around the hips. You end up wearing it in the wrong place just to keep it from shifting.
The Zena addresses this directly rather than working around it.
The Fit System: What Makes It Different
The Zena uses a twin waist and hip band system, which lets the BC fasten securely at the waist while positioning the weight and bladder lower, around your actual center of buoyancy. The two bands adjust independently, so the fit at your waist does not dictate the fit at your hips.
On top of that, Zeagle's patented PFS sizing system lets you adjust three dimensions separately: waist circumference, chest circumference, and torso length. That level of independent adjustment is unusual and genuinely useful if your proportions do not match a standard size.
The shoulder straps are torso-adjustable, and the front panels are elasticated and zippered for a close, comfortable fit across the chest. All buckles use a squeeze-style side-release mechanism, which is easier to operate with gloves on and makes getting in and out of the BC straightforward at the surface.
Buoyancy and Weight Capacity
The Zena runs a back-inflate bladder with a 31 lbs (13.6 kg) lift capacity. For recreational depths and typical exposure suits, that is more than enough.
Weight integration is built in through Zeagle's Ripcord Weight System. You can carry up to 24 lbs (10.9 kg) in the releasable front pockets, which can be ditched at the surface in an emergency. There is also a 16 lbs (7.26 kg) non-releasable capacity in the rear trim pockets, useful for balancing your trim without adding to your ditchable load.
Together, that gives you a total integrated weight capacity of 40 lbs (18.1 kg), which covers most recreational configurations, including drysuits and heavier exposure protection.
Dump Valves and Buoyancy Control
The Zena has two rear dump valves, one lower left and one lower right, both of which function as overpressure relief valves and pull dumps. Pull dumps let you vent air quickly by tugging a cord, which is useful when you need to descend fast or correct your trim without reaching for the inflator.
Having two rear valves rather than one gives you more options depending on your body position in the water.
The Bx Power Inflator
Zeagle fits the Zena with their own Bx Power Inflator rather than a generic inflator. The practical difference is the cleaning system: the Bx Coupler can be unscrewed and replaced with a standard garden hose fitting, letting you flush the inside of the bladder with running water after a dive.
Salt, sand, and debris that get into a bladder through the mouthpiece are a common cause of valve problems over time. Being able to rinse the bladder properly, rather than just squirting water through the mouthpiece, is a genuine long-term maintenance advantage.
The inflator connects to your first stage regulator via a 3/8" threaded low-pressure quick-disconnect hose, which is a standard fitting.
Storage and Accessories
The Zena keeps storage simple: one expandable mesh pocket at the waist for gloves, a small light, or other small items. There are four stainless steel D-rings on the vest for clipping off accessories or a surface marker buoy (SMB).
If you carry a lot of gear and need multiple large pockets, this is a minimal setup. For most recreational divers, it is enough.
Construction and Weight
The BC is built from denier nylon with a urethane-laminated interior on the bladder. The Zena weighs 6.2 lbs (2.8 kg) and is manufactured in the USA.
Who This BC Is For, and Who It Is Not
The Zena is a strong choice if you are a recreational woman diver who has never found a BCD that fits properly, or if you are stepping up from rental gear and want something built for your body rather than adjusted to it.
The independent fit adjustments make it particularly useful if your waist, chest, and torso length do not fall neatly into a single standard size.
It is a back-inflate design, which means the bladder sits behind you rather than wrapping around your sides. Back-inflate BCDs tend to push you face-down when you are fully inflated at the surface, which takes a little getting used to if you are coming from a jacket-style BCD. In the water, many divers prefer the horizontal trim a back-inflate encourages, but it is worth knowing before you buy.
If you are a technical diver or planning to move into doubles or rebreathers, the Zena is not designed for that kind of configuration. It is a recreational BC, and it is honest about that.
