The Lens System: Where This Mask Earns Its Place

Most dive masks use standard tempered glass, which loses up to 15% of available light to impurities and internal reflection. That translates directly to muddier colors and softer contrast, especially at depth where light is already scarce.

The Paragon uses TUSA's CrystalView optical glass with a combined AR (anti-reflective) and UV420 treatment. The AR coating reduces both internal and external reflected light. The result is up to 95% light transmission, compared to the roughly 85% you get from a standard lens.

The fitting edge uses a double feathered profile, meaning the silicone tapers to a fine edge where it meets your skin. This creates a low-pressure seal rather than a firm clamp, which reduces the red pressure marks you get after long dives and makes the mask more comfortable during extended sessions.

A proprietary low-friction surface on the fitting line helps the skirt settle into position smoothly when you first put the mask on, rather than catching or dragging.

Frame and Strap
