The Cressi Morea is a women's one-piece, 3 mm wetsuit built for warm-water diving, snorkeling, freediving, and surface water sports.

If you are a recreational diver or active water-sports enthusiast looking for a suit that moves well, goes on easily, and keeps you comfortable in water around 20 °C (68 °F), this is worth a serious look.

What the Neoprene Actually Does for You

Not all neoprene behaves the same way, and the Morea uses two different types deliberately.

The arms and legs are cut from Ultraspan neoprene, a more elastic material that stretches in multiple directions. That stretch matters when you are reaching for a fin buckle, kicking through a current, or just trying to pull the suit on after a sweaty surface interval.

The chest panel uses rubberized neoprene, which is denser and less permeable. It slows the flush of cold water against your core, where heat loss hits hardest. The trade-off is that rubberized panels are stiffer, but placing them at the chest rather than the limbs keeps the suit flexible where flexibility counts most.

Fit and Entry

The Morea closes with a dorsal (back) YKK zipper, running down the spine. YKK is a reliable zipper standard you will find on quality wetsuits across the industry.

Behind that zipper sits an Aquastop flap, a sealed backing that reduces the trickle of water that would otherwise channel straight in along the zip teeth. It will not make the suit waterproof, but it meaningfully cuts down on cold flushes when you descend or change direction.

The wrist and ankle openings finish with Overlock cuffs, a stitching technique that keeps the edges flat and smooth against your skin rather than bunching or digging in.

Cressi also describes the cut as anatomical, meaning the panels are shaped to follow the curves of a woman's body rather than relying purely on the neoprene's stretch to compensate for a generic pattern. That matters for comfort over a long dive day and for reducing the bunching that causes chafing.

The knees include reinforced protection panels against bumps and abrasion, useful if you do any boat diving with metal ladders or dive in environments where you might brush against rock.

Temperature and Conditions

At 3 mm, the Morea is rated for water around 20 °C. That puts it comfortably in the range of tropical and warm-temperate destinations: the Red Sea, the Mediterranean in summer, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia.

If you regularly dive in cooler conditions, say 15 °C or below, a 5 mm or 7 mm suit will serve you better. The Morea is not the right tool for cold-water diving.

Who This Suit Is and Is Not For
