The listing also puts ease of putting on and removing down as a feature in its own right, which is consistent with the closure they chose.

Quantum Stretch neoprene

Akona names the material Quantum Stretch and lists the flexibility as maximum mobility. No stretch percentage is published, so treat it as a description of intent rather than a measured figure.

What a stretchier neoprene changes in practice is fatigue, not warmth. Standard neoprene pushes back every time you reach, kick or turn, and across a long dive that adds up. A more elastic compound lets the suit follow you instead.
