Specs & Features Breakdown

The Abingdon Marina stands out in the women’s dive watch category, with a range of features that make it both practical and beautiful. And, with multiple colorways, it’s easy to match the watch to your gear.

The highly customizable titanium bracelet includes 16 removable links so that you can adjust the watch for a perfect fit—note, though, that you’ll need a separate tool that’s not included with the watch in order to remove and re-add the links. And, though the titanium bracelet is sleek and elegant, you may crave a different look. Never fear—the brand offers additional wristbands in steel, leather, and silicone, among others. Any 20 mm wristband will work for the Marina, which makes it a versatile addition to your timepiece collection.

The diver’s buckle with a removable wetsuit expander means that you can comfortably wear the watch over your suit, no matter the thickness. In terms of the material itself, titanium is both corrosion-resistant and hypoallergenic should you be wearing it on bare skin.

The rotating unidirectional bezel, luminous hands, and clear dial markers make it easy to read the Marina topside and underwater. The sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant, and the watch’s case diameter of 40 mm means it looks good even on smaller wrists.

With 200 meters (660 feet) of water resistance, the Marina can easily handle recreational scuba requirements and most technical diving limits, too. Finally, the Miyota 8215 Japanese automatic movement offers reliable, self-winding functionality and over 40 hours of power reserve.

Accessories

Both sturdy and stylish, the Abingdon Marina comes with a sandblasted titanium bracelet.

The Marina Watch comes with a sandblasted titanium bracelet with 16 removable links to ensure a perfect fit. Note though—as mentioned above—you’ll need a separate tool to add and remove the links. The diver’s buckle with a removable wetsuit expander means the Marina will fit a variety of wrist sizes and you can comfortably wear it over your wetsuit.

The Marina comes in a sleek presentation box, making it a great gift or way to store the watch when you’re not wearing it.

For travel or those who regularly dive, a travel case or extra straps could be worth considering for added convenience.

Price/Quality Ratio

The Abingdon Marina’s construction, features, water resistance, and customizability make it a great value for those who need a reliable, long-lasting dive watch

At $975, the Abingdon Co. Marina Watch is a premium dive watch that might be out of reach for some divers. Although it offers quality, durability, heft, and style, it may not suit those who are shopping on a budget.

However, the watch’s construction, features, water resistance, and customizability make it a great value for those who need a reliable, long-lasting dive watch that can also be worn on a day-to-day basis. If it’s within reach, the Marina is a great investment for divers who want a luxury dive watch that doesn’t sacrifice performance for looks.

Do we recommend the Abingdon Co. Marina Watch?

We do recommend the Abingdon Co. Marina Watch for women who spend a lot of time on and/or under the water and who are looking for something stylish, functional, and customizable.

At $975, this premium watch might be a bit steep for novice divers or those on a tight budget, but with all of its features and sleek sandblasted titanium construction, it’s a worthwhile investment for those who like to wear a watch underwater.
