The ‘you can’t have it all’ certainly doesn’t apply to Aurorae’s Classic yoga mat. Because it does, in fact, have it all, and then some more. By ‘all’ we mean sustainable manufacturing, non-slip design, and versatile use.

At 72 inches-length, it offers a good amount of surface to work on. Regardless of your height, you can stretch, train, and meditate on it without worrying about injuring yourself if you happen to take ‘too much space’. The just-the-right-amount of cushion won’t let you get in trouble.

Aurorae Classic mat doesn’t have any weird smells to it either. We like to think that it’s the merit of the eco materials used to create it but also the absence of harmful toxins that tend to evaporate as you start developing sweat (still not hot yoga-friendly though).

Quality

While natural rubber yoga mats are the most long-lasting ones, those made from environmental resin aren’t a letdown either. It’s true – they might not be the densest mats on the market, but they do the job of allowing you to firmly stand on the ground while also having some knee and elbow support when attempting those tricky yoga poses.

The mat’s more-than-6mm of thickness sits at the sweet spot where you can workout without losing balance and stay one with the ground, too. And even when, after some time, stretching and wearing do occur, you can still rely on the company’s 2-year warranty to have your back.

Comfort

There’s nothing like a yoga mat that doesn’t need a towel or another mat to make it a company so that you can feel safe when doing yoga or pilates. This eliminates the need to bring extra equipment and allows you to focus on advancing your skills instead. Isn’t this the goal of it all anyway?

Aurorae’s Classic yoga mat wins here by a wide margin. It’s thick enough to protect your joints yet thin enough to not interfere with your balance. Being in pain when in the process of facilitating that mind-body connection isn’t ideal, and this company knows it.

Performance

We’d straight up advise you to use the salt scrub method to speed up the ‘breaking in’ process. This way you’ll avoid possible slippage and secure good gripping from the get-go. And, as we all know, gripping can either make or break your yoga practice (we don’t want the latter here).

Once you get a good grip on your mat, you can feel free to experiment with not only yoga but also pilates, muscle-building exercises, and even some cardio. Don’t shy away from bringing it to your camping trips either – a quick on-the-mat meditation in the morning can do wonders for you.

Price/Quality

You get what you see with the Aurorae Classic yoga mat, and this is a good thing. The price you pay for it corresponds to its quality and doesn’t leave any room for disappointment. Oh, and yeah, the 2-year warranty definitely helps.
