The Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag is a 30-liter option with five organizational pockets and a lot of color options. It edges out its competition with an integrated wet pocket– it works best for your sweaty clothing after the gym or for your toiletries and makeup, keeping any accidental spills from seeping onto your dry and clean clothes in the main compartment.

This overnight bag is roomy enough to accommodate multiple sets of clothing. If you are a good or light packer, you could even squeeze in weeks’ worth! And when it’s not full, you can use the side snaps to size it down.

Carry it however you wish- as your shoulder bag, a handbag, or clip on the detachable shoulder strap and sling it crossbody for more comfort. But, it’s worth noting that if your weekender travel bag is heavily loaded, it can be brutal to your shoulders since there’s no sliding pad for cushioning. Good thing there’s the pass-through sleeve at the back so you can slip it onto your rolling luggage handle.

The overall construction of the Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag is not the finest but it does have strong details. The swivel clip at the shoulder strap and the main zips are flimsy. On the other hand, the seams have solid stitching, and the bag’s water-resistant nylon fabric seems to withstand abuse quite well.

For a budget-friendly overnight bag, this one from Hycoo comes with good durability. But don’t expect it to last for years like you would a high-quality and expensive weekender bag.

Size

This Hycoo overnight bag stands at 10.63″ tall, 21.65″ long, and 7.09″ wide. It has a total capacity of 30 liters and only weighs 1.3 lbs./0.6kg. That’s more than enough room to rock it as your gym bag or an everyday bag for work or school.

You have plenty of room for a few sets of clothing and personal items in this weekender travel bag. And if you’re a light packer, you won’t have any trouble squeezing in five days’ worth of clothes. The main compartment can also accommodate laptops as big as 16-17″, though there is no dedicated laptop sleeve.

On the outside, there’s a little open pocket at the front for quick access to your small things, like mints, change and hand sanitizer. There’s also a zippered rear pocket for essential items you need within reach, like your phone, passport, and ID.

Inside, there are three pockets to keep the main compartment clutter-free. A zipped pocket, a mesh pocket with three divisions, and a wet pocket. Keep your USB cords, chargers, mouse, and other tech accessories organized. The wet pocket has a plastic lining to prevent moisture from oozing onto your dry items. It also works well for your makeup, so you don’t have to think about spills while using your Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag. You can also use it for your sweaty clothes after you go to the gym.

The wet pocket can’t accommodate shoes. If you want a weekender travel bag with a built-in shoe compartment, we suggest Kemy’s Store Athletic Gym Bag. It has an almost identical look but a higher capacity of 35 liters.

You won’t always need your Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag jam-packed. You can size it down for light days when all you’re carrying are a few essentials. You can snap the side straps down to reduce the bag’s size.

The Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag is just right for multi-day getaways. If you’re packing winter clothes and blankets or bulky items you won’t have room for as much. It also passes as a carry-on and sits well under airline seats.

Comfort

You can wear this Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag in various ways. Use it as a handbag or shoulder bag, or sling it over as a crossbody. The dual handle is rounded with padding and provides a comfy grip. We didn’t feel any uneasiness with a light load inside. But, if you’re carrying more weight, you can clip on the detachable shoulder strap and carry your weekender travel bag crossbody.

On the downside, the strap does dig into your shoulder when it is heavy. It doesn’t have padding like the INOXTO Fitness Gym Bag to add some cushion. It’s a nightmare if you’re waiting in line at the airport or walking around for an extended period.

All in all, it’s comfortable enough as long as it’s not overloaded. We appreciate the versatility of being able to carry it in different ways. You can even slip it on your rolling carry-on bag with the pass-through sleeve at the back. Slide it through the handle of your rolling suitcase, and you’re good to go.

You won’t have to keep changing the bag’s position as we did with the Apera Performance Duffel. We were stuck with our heavy weekender digging into our shoulders while standid in line for our trip to Miami.

If you prefer carrying the weight evenly, we recommend you check out daypacks instead. Same capacity (30-liter) models like the Gregory Arrio will be more forgiving to travel with if you carry it for a long time.

Material

The Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag is made of nylon, and it comes in a variety of cute colors. You can have yours in Pink, Pale Green, Peacock Blue, Beige, Olive Green, Light Purple, and more. But remember that prices differ per color.

Construction-wise, nylon is nice for soft goods, whether a gym bag, hiking backpack, or a duffel. It’s lightweight, water resistant, and durable. This overnight bag from Hycoo seems to survive well and is indeed water-resistant. You don’t have to worry about splashes and drizzles if you get stuck in the rain.

Keep in mind that water-resistant is not waterproof. It can endure showers but not prolonged water exposure. If keeping your items dry is your priority, you might consider investing in a waterproof backpack.

The stitching on the Floless Weekender is clean and reinforced. We liked that the fabric was also reinforced with webbing to help support our heavy loads and give peace of mind it wouldn’t show signs of wear too quickly.

The main compartment of the Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag is accessible via a 2-way SBS zipper. They glide smoothly, and the large leather pulls make them easier to open and close. However, they feel a little cheap, so you must be extra careful when using them. The same goes for the plastic swivel hook at the ends of the shoulder strap. The little piece of metal at the gate doesn’t seem that sturdy.

Overall, the Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag isn’t perfect. It’s a budget-friendly overnight bag, so don’t expect a premium build. But for its price point, it’s a decent model that will last for more than a few trips.

Conclusion

For more or less $30, the Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag comes with a reasonable build for its price. You can enjoy its 30-liter capacity while rocking it in cute colors and carrying it in three various ways. Carry it as a handbag or on your shoulder, or attach the strap and crossbody it.

Your items will stay organized inside this overnight bag with three pockets, including a dedicated wet pocket. There’s also a tiny zipped rear compartment to keep your valuables safe and within reach and an open pocket at the front.

The room in the main compartment is spacious enough to load up several days’ worth of supplies. The size is just right as a carry-on bag for your next flight.

The Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag doesn’t come with top-notch construction. The zips and swivel hooks feel flimsy. And It would’ve been better if there was a sliding pad on the shoulder strap to provide additional cushion and comfort when it’s fully loaded.

On the other hand, this nylon overnight bag has sturdy stitching and fairly good water resistance.

The Floless Hycoo Weekender Bag is not the best of the bunch. But within its price range, you’ll have lots of space with compartments and nice colors to choose from.
