What’s Special About this Resort
Just down the beach from the Beaches resort is the Alexandra Resort; another all-inclusive stay located on the gorgeous beachfront of Grace Bay. This resort is far more low-key and a bit quieter than some of the family-friendly options with waterparks and character experiences. Don’t get us wrong, you can still bring your kids here – in fact, kids stay for free, but this resort is just as suitable for couples as it is for families.
One of the major perks of staying at the Alexandra Resort is the included access to its sister resort, Blue Haven. Shuttles to and from the resorts are included with your stay, so you can check out all the island has to offer and get more dining options, pools, and shopping destinations out of your vacation.
Meals at any of the resort restaurants, domestic and premium beverages, use of the water trampoline, snorkeling gear, kayaks, sailboats, paddle boards, and more are all included in your stay at the Alexandra Resort. Spa treatments, motorized water gear, and “dream tours” are luxuries available for an additional fee.

What To Do
Your stay at the Alexandra Resort comes with many perks, but some of the best are the various ways to enjoy the crystal blue waters of Grace Bay. The resort provides kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, and Hobie cats at no additional charge for guests to use. At an additional fee, guests can also rent windsurfing equipment and kiteboarding equipment and arrange for instruction from experts at the resort.
The resort provides complimentary bikes to ride for pleasure along the boardwalk or for transportation to get to the nearby shopping center. The resort itself also has a small boutique for gifts and necessities.
Also available to guests at an additional fee is the only golf course on the island, just a ten minute drive from the resort. The 18 hole par 72 course houses a pro shop and a casual clubhouse.
Alexandra Resort hosts what they call “Caicos Dream Tours,” which are exciting excursions like a snorkel and conch cruise, a private fishing charter, or a private charter with a completely customized itinerary. These experiences are not included in the price of your stay, but we highly recommend splurging for the experience.
There is plenty to stay busy with, but as far as we’re concerned, you could spend your entire vacation in a beach chair, and we’d say it was well spent.
What To Eat and Drink
While the food variety isn’t as extensive as the Beaches Resort, there are still a few too many options to cover everything here. We picked a few of our favorites to share below.
Black Rock
Black Rock is the place for steak lovers. Here you can get a New York strip, a ribeye, and more, and they will cook it right at your table on a hot “steak stone.” Enjoy this a la carte dinner experience in the open-air dining room with stunning views of the ocean.
Fish Deck
Like many restaurants on the Turks and Caicos islands, Fish Deck is right on the water, serving the freshest seafood imaginable. The menu is full of mouth-watering seafood options, like crab, mahi mahi, ceviche, and more.
Dragon Orchid
Dragon Orchard is an indoor sushi spot featuring fresh seafood and great ambiance. You can expect all of the usual sushi staples like rolls and Sashimi when dining at this dinner spot.
In addition to the delicious food at the Alexandra Resort, there are several bars and drink stands on the property that are the cherry on top. Nothing says “tropical vacation” like a refreshing smoothie or acai bowl or an ice-cold pina colada to sip beachside.
In addition to the restaurants at The Alexandra Resort, transportation is complimentary for guests to and from their sister resort, Blue Haven, where there are additional, ample, dining options.
