If you constantly find yourself struggling with pinch points and hot spots and dread cramming your feet into a stiff shelled rental boot every morning, these merit serious consideration. If you hate pulling at the tongue of your boot and pointing like a ballerina, hands free entry has you covered. If you’re constantly walking around a ski resort lugging kids or grabbing beers, the “Apres Mode 2.0” combined with GripWalk Soles keep you grounded.
The BFC lineup has a wide flex range, so skiers at skill levels between beginner and intermediate have options available. With this in mind, “Built for Comfort ” does not mean built for speed, built for power, or built for the double black diamond you’ve been eyeing up all season. An expert skier might be able to tease a little more performance out of these boots without folding the shell- but why would you? For my part, I’d love to spend the day in these boots cruising around from bar to bar, casually flipping them into walk mode whenever confronted by a set of stairs or a walk through the parking lot.
Notable Features
Hands Free Entry: Dual overlap in the neck of the boot allows for easier time getting them off and off. Theoretically without use of your hands
Energy Interlock: The spine and cuff of the boot are welded together, allowing for a more forgiving progressive flex pattern
