A word from our editors

As ski and snowboard enthusiasts with professional backgrounds, we understand how important it is to find the right gear. We take into account that requirements vary depending on the skier and the conditions that they’re skiing. With this in mind, we do our best to deliver an unbiased analysis of every piece of equipment that we handle based on who we think it will, or won’t, benefit the most.

Get out and ride the snowpack. It’ll make your life more fulfilled. We hope to help you on the way, but the first move is yours.

Hunter Bierce

Hunter is both a certified PSAI ski patroller and former “Rookie Instructor of the Year” for his small triumphs in teaching 4-year-olds the finer points of the wedge turn. When he’s not skiing the North Cascades and running in the Chuckanuts, he’s searching for other mountains to summit and the best equipment for the job.

With an odd 30 days of skiing under his belt, he moved to Crested Butte to teach 4-year-olds the finer points of the wedge turn, earning the distinction of “Rookie Instructor of the Year”. Now located in Bellingham, Washington, Hunter spends his time riding in the North Cascades, running in the Chuckanuts, reading Michael Moorcock, and searching out obscure 90s death metal releases.

Bradley Axmith

Growing up in Canada, Bradley embraced winter and skied during the first 13 years of his life until his skateboarding side demanded he strap on a board and start riding. More than 2 decades later, he remains happiest on the mountain carving at speed or weaving through trees.
