Tower SUP Board Accessories

The Tower inflatable paddle board package is quite limited and only includes the bare essentials necessary for functionality. That said, some of these accessories are of good quality and should be considered in the medium range of the market. Specifically, Tower provides a 3 piece adjustable aluminium paddle and a manual high pressure pump.

  • Paddle: The 3 piece adjustable aluminium paddle provided by Tower is a pretty standard one for moving about on the water. It provides a flexible blade that is reinforced with metal ribs, in order to make powerful strokes easily manageable. This paddle is lightweight and durable. It does the job, but the carbon model is better.
  • Pump: The manual high pressure pump is great for blowing up the board in close to 10 minutes to the recommended 11 PSI. However, we would like to see a dual action version with future models of this board as it would make inflation faster and easier.
Further Optional Accessories from Tower
  • Tower 3 piece adjustable carbon kevlar paddle
  • Tower 12v electric paddleboard pump
  • Tower iSUP D-ring accessory

Tower Paddle Board Features

Tower inflatable SUPs are renowned for their durability and stability. The drop stitching construction on all their boards provide a very rigid frame for these boards. The boards are all also made of military grade PVC material called Hypalon, and this multi-layered fabric is what makes these boards so durable.

All the Tower paddle boards have a high-weight capacity, supporting up to two adults, making them ideal for recreational use. Although these boards are virtually indestructible the iSUP range are lightweight making them easily transportable to and from the water. They are also known for the softness of the fabric making them ideal for any yoga paddle boarders.

All Tower inflatable paddle boards come with a pump, paddle and repair kit. Although the package is not as comprehensive as other brands on the market, notably iRocker, this iSUP package is perfect to get you started.

A Tower paddle board is ideal for paddlers who want a recreational or touring board because the stability and maneuverability makes Tower boards perfect for all levels of paddle boarders. The rigid material allows for good tracking and the majority of their boards are fast on the water, ideal for lakes or coastal areas. The most noticeable downfall to the Tower iSUP range packages is that they often don’t include a travel backpack in which to store your board.

Why we recommend Tower SUP Boards

Tower boards and their iSUP range are undeniably durable and stable, making them ideal for paddle boarders of all levels. Their durability and stability make them easy to paddle on without compromising on speed, track or manoeuvrability. The Tower iSUP packages are comprehensive and include the basics required to start your paddle boarding experience.

Tower has a lot of experience in the industry and this shows through their manufacturing of their boards. The materials used ensure stability when on the water and do not compromise on durability. The high-weight capacity makes them ideal for lots of different activities including yoga and recreational paddle boarding.

The Tower iSUP range is comprehensive. It has everything from touring boards to boards made for sport. Put the all-around Adventurer board into the mix and they have successfully made a range which caters to the needs of a variety of levels.

Tower has a great reputation, their products are made out of the best quality and will last you a long time. We like this company quite a bit. They don’t sell through any retailers, ensuring that all their products are bought directly from them and that they can provide each customer with good quality customer care as well as offering a 2 year warranty for each board.

Hi Lorna,

No, there are not any proper seating options for the Tower Mermaid. Usually, a Paddleboard seat is attached via D-rings in the side of the board, but the Mermaid only has d-rings in front for the cargo and the back for the leash.

Hi! I have the Tower Mermaid that I received for Xmas 2020. I have been slowly learning this summer but I do have some problems. I have degenerative disc disease in back and neck so I can’t be on board too long. Do you have a chair that comes with this board so I can still use and enjoy my new board?

Thanks for your input. Glad you’re happy with the board. In Hala’s defense, Superior can be a Lake that could pacify the Pacific sometimes. Would love to hear more about surfing with a SUP. That’s on my list. Cheers.

Love the Xplorer for beach squad days, not many of my friends can afford a paddle board, and I can easily take 3 adults with me on it, though last year we had 3 adults and 2 kids on it with no problems. When I am not with the beach squad at the lake, I can paddle along with it, I bought and anchor and line, easy enough to hook that to the rear d ring. Want lunch and relax a bit, toss the anchor over and not worry about drifting off. Or been paddling a long time, take a nap or overnight on the board, just toss the anchor down. I’ve used it on Lake Superior, and the water gets pretty rough up there, and it handles it just fine, and yes, if you are big enough that the board isn’t the boss of you, you can surf Lake Superior with it. I have used it on local rivers, it does that fine. Things you need to buy with this board are a leash for your leg, paddle leash, 4 d ring kit to apply bungie system or a deck bag, a small anchor and line for it. Get a USCG type 4 float cushion, you can sit on the board kayak style or save your knees if you kneel for a while, but also makes a nice pillow for your nap or overnight stay on the board. I find the electric pump unnecessary, if you get it, you have to keep your vehicle running because it will drain your battery to zip(lets not ask how I know this), and it doesn’t inflate it any faster then me using the manual pump. Its just the electric pump doesn’t leave your arms already halfway through a work out. As for rolling it up compactly, that’s a joke, I’ve not gotten it to anything less then the size of a polar-rollar 35 gallon cooler. I just use a ratchet strap to hold it together. I did learn, leave the fin on, its removable, but its a beast to get that back in there. Had it 2 seasons, blows the irocker my friend has right outta the water, even she prefers my board to hers, and I find them better then the Hala gear one I had, that did not handle Lake Superior well at all. I’ve used hard boards, and after using an iSUP I wouldn’t go back to a hard board. Tower has been an amazing company, with a product for anyone wanting to paddle board, young and fit, old and fat, middle aged with a middle, beginner to old hat, and any combo of anything, they have a board for you.
