The SereneLife Free Flow is a fantastic recreational paddle board for beginners to the sport. It has been designed specifically with new paddle boarders in mind, with features such as an extremely comfortable traction pad and a large bungee system at the front of the board.
The board is made to be accessible, easy to use and maneuverable to give riders a true feel for inflatable paddle boarding before they invest in a more expensive board. Nevertheless, this board’s stability can become a problem, especially in rougher conditions. But that also means maneuverability is pretty good.
The accessories that are included in the SereneLife Free Flow package are of decent quality considering the affordability of this package.

- Paddle: The SereneLife 3 Piece Adjustable Aluminum SUP paddle is the fantastic travel paddle and is of fair quality for the affordable price. An important thing to note is that this paddle doesn’t float and will sink if accidentally dropped or left in the water.
- Leash: The included leash is a 8’ coiled velcro ankle cuff safety leash that is very comfortable.
- Pump: The SereneLife single action pump does the jump of helping you pump up the SUP board. It takes between 10-15 minutes to fully inflate the SereneLife Free Flow board using this pump.
- Backpack: The SereneLife travel bag is perfect if you want to take this inflatable paddle board with you on holiday. It is made of good quality materials and is comfortable to carry. It is very spacious and fits all the accessories provided in the package.

Stability
The SereneLife Free Flow has a good overall level of stability, however experienced paddle boarders will note that it is difficult to move around the board without losing balance. Additionally, when waves or strong current hits the board, paddlers that are completely new to the sport might find their balance tested. The SereneLife Free Flow is best suited for recreational use on flat water when taken out by beginners.
Maneuverability
The SereneLife Free Flow has a good level of maneuverability. It has a plastic tri-fin setup with a larger centre fin for maintaining traction. The board can easily be maneuvered with the 3 piece adjustable paddle through quick and efficient paddle strokes. That said, step back turns can be challenging as the rider can easily lose balance if displacing their weight on the board. But step back turns are for intermediate paddlers anyways–but we would be remiss not to note the limits.
Portability
The SereneLife Free Flow 10’6” is the perfect paddle board for taking on holiday or for summer at the lake or beach. The board is extremely portable and folds up to then be packed away into the included travel bag with all the rest of the included accessories. Although the board is super lightweight, it is not the most convenient board to carry as there are no carry handles on the board. Overall, this board has a standard level of portability for inflatable paddle boards in the all rounder segment.
Price/Quality Ratio
The SereneLife is extremely affordable and you won’t find a more affordable inflatable paddle board without heavily sacrificing on quality anywhere else on the market. SereneLife still provides a PVC board that has been made with dropstitching technology and a full set of accessories including a 3 piece adjustable aluminium paddle.
