It’s got cargo features and accessory options that are designed in unique ways. As a tandem kayak, these features really shine through. As a stand up paddle board, the Switch is a pretty awesome touring board that has the maneuverability to match the best all rounders too.
Just to top it off, the Link System allows for more attachments, while eliminating all the D-rings used by other boards. That makes this one of the best yoga boards as well.

One of the most popular entry level boards on the market the Isle Pioneer 10’6 Inflatable SUP boards is excellent for those looking to get started in paddle boarding. An all round board that includes all the necessary accessories and equipment this is an excellent quality board at a very acceptable price given the quality.
This 2022 Isle Pioneer paddle board builds upon the previous Pioneer model providing more stability and maneuverability, while evolving its elegant design into a more ergonomic board. With 34 inches of width and a large deck pad, stepping about and doing yoga are clear applications for which the Pioneer is well-suited.
Excellent on flat water and lakes, this board is stable and tracks well in the water. The Isle Pioneer also has great maneuverability. This is thanks to the nylon center fin being well-positioned between two small integrated side fins that allow for better tracking on the water.
The board is compact when folded and relatively light. It’s the same Fusion Tech PVC material we saw in the new Switch. While the bag is a bit bulky because of the extra width of this SUP, it’s still relatively easy to carry on account of the lower than normal weight.

A comfortable, robust and steady high quality board, the Isle Explorer is an excellent board for those looking to get into touring. This board is stable, tracking well in water, especially good in waves and on the sea. Built for long distances the Isle Explorer is great for adventuring out onto the sea.
The additional stability and pointed nose of the board ensure a smooth ride in most environments.
Designed for stability and to endure waves the board is slightly less maneuverable than other Isle boards, however, this does ensure a more balanced ride. Like other Isle boards, it comes as a full package, including the travel bag, making it convenient and transportable.
We recommend the Isle Explorer for any paddler who wants a stable touring board built for exploring. The Explorer provides a smooth and enjoyable paddle boarding experience in almost any environment (sea, lake, river).
It’s not as fast as the Starboard Deluxe, nor as good at tracking as the Xplorer, but it’s the lightest touring board on offer here and that makes it most portable and easy to maneuver. Hence, the comfort accolade.

The Isle carbon hybrid adjustable paddle is a super durable and lightweight tool made for reaching top speeds. This paddle allows for less energy consumption as compared to regular paddles as the intuitive design makes it easier to maneuver. Additionally, the blade of this paddle has a large surface area in order to push more water. On this board this translates to picking up more speed.
