  • 2+1 quick snap fins with anti-weed design are very firm in their boxes adding to stability
  • The redesigned deck pad gives the board the personality that helps differentiate it from other SUP boards. The 2020 upgrade has grooves that keep the water of the deck The ‘R’ logo tiling and the single-colored back cargo area are visually pleasing too.
  • 4 safety handles are great for kids trying to mount the board as well as providing additional storage possibilities.
  • The 4 action mounts are for fishing rod holders, action cams, cup holders and the growing list of other mountable accessories you could ever dream of.
  • Maintaining balance might prove to be hard for kids at the beginning. Enter removable safety handles strategically placed at the nose and the tail of the paddling board. It’s called ‘killing two birds with one stone’ – your offspring is safe, and you have the peace of mind.

Where to Buy:

High-quality paddling equipment should come with high-quality accessories. The iRocker Cruiser certainly lives up to this expectation.

  • Backpack: The upgraded pack has so many pouches, with enough space to carry and organize your gear. The 2 fully adjustable straps and a sternum strap makes it feel like a hiking backpack. Getting at secluded lakes with this bag isn’t an issue. Nor is biking with it.
  • Paddle: The timeline of the paddle’s construction is lengthy. From aluminum to fiberglass and, finally, to a carbon composite shaft, the evolution has only gotten better and better. It’s thin and weighs only 28 ounces. The 2020 upgrade didn’t stop there, though – the blades of the paddle are color-coordinated with the board. How nerdy cool is that?
  • Leash: The iRocker included a safety leash of 10 inches into the accessory bundle. And we can’t complain. Apart from doing its job of keeping you connected to the board in case of a fall, it doubles as a storage space for your key.
  • Full-Throttle Pump: Even though an electric pump is a nice luxury, the pump is great. The double-chamber pump that comes in the package has three settings that make the inflation and deflation processes considerably more time-efficient.
  • Repair Kit: The cruiser comes with an inflation valve wrench, 3 replacement flip locks for the fins, and 3 PVC patches. That’s the deal – take it or leave it (we say, take it).
  • User Manual: For newbies who never paddled before, the user manual will be your saving grace. Featuring all the information you’d ever need for successfully setting up your board, it also comes with an iRocker sticker pack. Now you’re officially a member of the club.
  • Optional Add-Ons: Hold on, there are a few more items you can purchase to level up your paddling game. These include a deck cooler bag, a kayak seat kit, a fishing rod holder, a BLACKFIN Bluetooth speaker, a shoulder carrying strap, and cell phone accessories.

At 33 inches in the middle, the Cruiser is extremely stable. It also has a fairly wide tail. Between the width and the rigid body, it’s one of the most stable SUPs in its class. While this makes it good for yoga or even SUP fishing, the Cruiser

irocker 10’6” cruiser sup board stability

The 20 inch tail makes doing back step turning quite nice. It’s surprising how well it turns given how stable it is. It’s not too fast, but it tracks pretty straight. It performs well for seasoned paddlers and will be a really good board for beginners to up their skills on.

The iRocker 10’6” is on par with the other SUP boards from the brand in terms of ease of transportation. The carrying handles, including the safety handles, make transporting the board a piece of cake.

It’s a great backpack. So comfortable and easy to carry, especially given the weight of the entire package. There are wheels on the front of the bag, making it easy to haul along without straps getting entangled in the wheels. The bag is similar in quality, to what we see on the Blufin Paddleboard bundles and above many other in the industry.

irocker 10’6” cruiser sup board portability

If the phrase ‘you get what you pay for’ had a positive connotation to it, it’s what we’d describe the iRocker 10’6” Cruiser SUP board with.

And still, we’re taking the liberty to give it this exact title. For the number of features the board has and the number of accessories it comes with, the price tag is fully justified (if not depreciated, actually).

Do we recommend it?

You’ll have a hard time finding flaws in the iRocker 10’6” Cruiser SUP board if you tried. We can’t see any downsides with this board. If you’re looking for more speed and more distance, you’ll look at another SUP, but packed with value, it’s a go-to board for every outdoor enthusiast looking to engage in a variety of other SUP activities.

The combination of a really well-built materials, versatility and stability make this an amazing board.

Is the quality of the iRocker Cruiser any good?

The iRocker 10’6” SUP board is crafted from the triple composite PVC with a drop-stitching core that supports the construction. This makes it as solid as a hardboard when inflated. Given the 400 pounds it’s able to withstand, you can be confident in its rigidness and reliability.

How long does it take to inflate the iRocker 10’6” Cruiser board?

Generally speaking, it shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes to inflate the board. If using the suggested 15 PSI pressure, you can expect it to be ready for launching in 5-10 minutes.

How to carry the iRocker Cruiser with the shoulder strap?

Is the iRocker Cruiser a slow SUP board?

You could get an idea that the board is slow in comparison to its All-Around counterpart, and you wouldn’t be wrong. But this doesn’t mean that it’s sluggish or hard to navigate. You can still ride with a relatively high speed all while keeping a better-than-average balance. It’s a clear win-win.

What’s the difference between iRocker All-Around and Cruiser SUP boards?

Both of the models are super popular for the same reasons – they’re built from high-quality materials, have a superb level of performance, and last a long time. The sole difference is the Cruiser’s better stability and the All-Around’s faster speed.
