Yoozon Selfie Stick tripod queues up in line with those Bluetooth models that will get the job done at very little cost. But there are some drawbacks. And that’s what you can expect given its price.
Though on the brighter side, it’s a 2-in-1 25.2” tripod Bluetooth selfie stick. You can change it depending on your needs. Maybe it’s a backdrop-rich selfie or a family portrait taken from a few feet away. All with a simple click on your wireless remote.
If you’re looking for something with more reach and a better grip, the Fugetek 49” Selfie Stick is your bet. But the defining feature of the Yoozon is its compact design and ease of use.
The telescopic shaft is one of the few at this price that’s both solid and doesn’t shake because of loose interconnections.
It can hold phones and phones only. No DSLRs. No GoPros. The upgraded Yoozon Selfie Stick does have a GoPro mount included in the package. Even with this addition, its build is still of the same materials, so mounting a heavier camera might not be the best idea.
But with an iPhone and the telescope extended, proof of experience was captured. The 25 inches is enough to hide your arm’s blatant and sore-thumb role in selfies with notable backgrounds.
Changing the Yoozon Selfie Stick into a tripod is manageable indoors. Manageable during your online classes, streaming videos, and attending virtual meetings. We used it for online meetings with functional satisfaction.
It will work when placed on a leveled surface. This way, you avoid damaging the tripod legs and with your phone at a neutral angle.
The Yoozon Selfie Stick is a justly priced entry-level Bluetooth selfie stick. Take your pictures and videos with ease, .

Comfort
Weighing only 4 ounces, Yoozon Selfie Stick won’t make you feel like you’re carrying anything. You can use it nonstop all day, and your arms will still be weight-free.
But remember that this Bluetooth selfie stick doesn’t have a padded handle. What you’ll mostly feel is a smooth plastic finish. This type of handle is slip-prone, especially for people with sweaty hands.
If your priority is comfort, you might want to see the 49 inch Fugetek Selfie Stick. It offers padded handles for extra comfort. But they’re also out as heavier Bluetooth selfie sticks which will compromise your ease if you use them for long.
Yoozon Selfie Stick is one of the lightest and cheapest Bluetooth selfie sticks you’ll find in the market. It doesn’t offer a premium handle feel and the tripod flaps are suspiciously weak, but it’s great for the price.
Portability
As compact as your (or your girl’s) make-up kit at only 7.9 inches when fully folded. You literally can keep it in your pocket without any trouble. Its portability is a catch for all travelers out there whose backpack’s side pockets are already fully loaded.
This edge is something that most professional-grade Bluetooth selfie sticks lack. You’ll see how portability is a lesser priority for quality in BMZX Bluetooth Long Selfie Stick and the Fugetek 49” Selfie Stick.
With almost the same build and price, take some time checking out the Erligpowht Selfie Stick. Obudyard Selfie Stick is also very compact at 7.8 inches, but with a kicker. With a gimbal stabilizer for smoother video footage. It’s on the upscale end of Bluetooth selfie sticks, but for its features and compactness, it’s a steal every vlogger needs to have.
Ease of use
Mounting your phone is relatively easy since it’s spring-loaded (on one end). But an additional tick is required to unfold (again) the other side of the phone holder. That extra edge on design didn’t add any security or compactness at all. If anything, it’s just another time-consuming feature that didn’t kick Yoozon Selfie Stick’s overall functionality.
Pairing your device with Yoozon Selfie Stick is easy breezy. Just do a long press on the camera button and open your phone’s Bluetooth setting and connect. Connection was quick with both iPhone and Android alike.
Durability
With the Yoozon Selfie Stick, compactness and price, some valued qualities have to go.
Don’t expect that this tripod selfie stick will survive with your long-term needs. It’s mainly thin aluminum alloy and plastic material. But after a few days of testing it proved itself without any signs of breakage.
Though it must be said we didn’t stress test it too much and neither should you.
Compatibility / Connectivity
Like most Bluetooth selfie sticks, Yoozon Selfie Stick can hold devices between 3.5 to 6.5 inches wide.
In short, it can pair with any mobile device that operates on at least iOS 6.0 and Android 4.4 within a 10-meter radius.
If your phone operates on earlier generations, or you’re not sure if it’ll connect with Yoozon Selfie Stick, check out the wired Anker Selfie Stick. Plug it into your headphone jack, and you can start capturing photos. The best part? It doesn’t need any battery at all!
Save more time Fugetek 49” Selfie Sticks’ wireless remote featuring zoom-in/out buttons. No more manually zooming in or out for your photos. You can adjust your view with a click (though it doesn’t work on iOS units).
Yoozon Selfie Stick can carry mobile phones only. Anything heavy like a DSLR is not a good idea since its flimsy telescopic arm can’t handle the weight. Mounting your GoPro is possible if you get the upgraded Yoozon Selfie Stick with a free mount adapter. But again, Yoozon Selfie Stick doesn’t have the sturdy build needed for sports-related activities.
Price/Quality Ratio
At around $15, the Yoozon Selfie Stick’s construction is reasonably priced, with basic features that you need from a Bluetooth selfie stick. It will get the job done, although its durability isn’t something to boast about.
On the other hand (for almost a similar cost), Fugetek 49” Selfie Stick has a professional build that can endure continuous use. With a more comfy rubberized handle and clamp locks for additional solidity. But note that it’s solely a monopod.
If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful Bluetooth selfie stick with tripod options, the Yoozon Selfie Stick won’t be a bad choice. But remember that for its price, don’t expect too much.
It’ll be a good fit for a weekend getaway or any situation where you don’t plan to use it again afterward. Its tripod option is a decent phone holder (given you keep it steady on a flat surface to avoid damaging its legs).
There are better Bluetooth selfie sticks out there with better durability. It might cost five more bucks, but it’s wiser to invest a little more. If you want a selfie stick that you can carry and would do its job more than what you paid for (a few bucks will go a long way).
But as for Yoozon Selfie Stick. It might sound harsh, but it’s one of the cheapest (yes) but also weakest Bluetooth models out there. Get one for quick use, for a weekend trip, for amateur vlogging and for a family portrait.
It might stand the impact of you walking around crowded tourist spots. But for your sports and nature adventures? Yoozon Selfie Stick is straight-up a no-no.

Frequently asked questions
Long press the camera button on your wireless remote until the blue light starts flashing. Get your device and go to your Bluetooth setting and look for YOOZON S10. Select it to connect. Once successfully paired, you’re good to go.
Take the wireless remote out of the slot at the handle and grab the USB charger that came in with your Bluetooth selfie stick. The blue light will turn on, indicating it’s powering up. When the light dies, it means your wireless remote is full. Plug it for at least an hour to recharge. Take your Yoozon Selfie Stick as you go!
If you suspect that your wireless remote’s battery is damaged, you can change it. Slide the back cover to open the battery compartment. Replace the old battery with a new CR1632, and make sure you place the new battery like how you removed the old one.
Other wireless remotes require you to crack it from the side with your nails (or with a pin if your nails aren’t long enough) to open up the cover.
Yoozon Selfie Stick has a telescopic arm with three sections. It extends when you pull it according to your desired length. Note that using Yooson Selfie Stick at its maximum length also reduces its stability. It doesn’t have that premium solidity like Fugetek Selfie Stick, where each section of the telescopic arm is clamp-locked for additional sturdiness.
If you’ll use your Yoozon Selfie Stick at extended length, use the sections at half-length. This way, the unextended half adds to the overall stability of your Yoozon Selfie Stick.
