Under Armour has been one of the most famous go-to brands for those who love living an active lifestyle. Their Undeniable 4.0 sports bag makes it easier to carry your training essentials, and you also rock fitness sessions in style.

You can take a pick from numerous designs and sizes, and all of them seem to embody the durability to go head-on with your discipline. With easy access and organization, you stay clutter- and stress-free while counting your reps, sets, laps, or rounds.

It’s a sports bag for the modern-day fitness enthusiast. Undeniable 4.0 is a fairly-priced option that appears to perform and survive well.

Construction and Design

Though it might seem like Undeniable 4.0 has nothing special in its design, this polyester-made sports bag carries Under Armour’s signature STORM technology (more on that in a bit). On the outside, it’s got a typical duffel bag look. But what do we like most about this US sports bag aesthetically? The colors are vivid, and they come in both plain and adventurous combos! You can also choose from four sizes- xs, small, medium, and large. (Note: the sizing runs bigger than expected.)

You can fit a basketball inside no matter what size you choose.

Now, let’s take a closer look at Undeniable 4.0’s build. Since it’s polyester-made, you can expect that it has good wrinkle and abrasion resistance. It also won’t stretch or get heavier when in contact with water since it doesn’t absorb moisture. Plus, this sports bag comes with US’s Storm technology-the fabric was DWR-treated to amp up its water resistance.

Water beads and rolls off as soon as it touches the fabric. However, it’s worth noting that it’s not waterproof. Your stuff will stay dry for a short time under light showers but not for long exposure under torrential rain. The stitching seems durable. There are rare complaints about the seams coming off, but we haven’t had that issue. Overall, this gym bag from Under Armour offers a decent build. Besides, you can choose from various designs and pick one that speaks out for your personality.

Harness System

Undeniable 4.0 has a standard adjustable shoulder strap webbing. It does what it’s supposed to, but not as comfy when you’re carrying it for long periods. There’s also a bit of confusion regarding the padding. The description of this sports bag didn’t clarify that the xs/small doesn’t include a pad and has a fixed strap. Only medium and large/xL have padding in the removable shoulder strap. It’s a bummer since the pad alleviates a bit of skin-digging irritation.

The swivels of the shoulder strap are also plastic. They can endure enough weight, but you can’t depend on them for heavy hauling. If you’ll be carrying heavy, it’s best to opt for gym bags with metal hardware like Kuston Sports Gym Bag, LeoLake Sports Gym Bag, or Kemy’s Athletic Gym Bag.

Storage

With lots of compartments on board, we’ve ended up using this bag on all sorts of things other than sports too. Undeniable 4.0 is ready to accommodate all your essentials, whether you’re off to the gym, for a quick trip, or training in the field.

Main Compartment

The main compartment is super spacious. You can sneak in even bulky gear. Like playing basketball? Football? You can carry your basketball inside. As part of the test, we tried fitting in three footballs, and there was still a lot of spare room in this sports bag.

You’ll find a hanging pocket as well. It’s a good place for small items you want to secure, like keys, cards, and IDs. Although, it’s worth noting it’s not a zipped pocket but instead has an overhang for protection. It’s not as safe as MarsBro Gym Bag’s inner pocket.

Undeniable 4.0 vs. MarsBro

This UA sports bag can accommodate your gym needs: boxing gloves, hand wrap, headgear, jump rope, bands, and a lifting belt. It also doubles as an overnighter if you’re off for a night under the stars.

Side Pockets

The pair of side pockets come very handy and can adapt to particular purposes. On the right, you have the shoe compartment. We like how it comes with a mesh panel at the top to allow ventilation. That’s a perk you won’t enjoy fully with Kuston Sports Gym Bag and its small vent holes.

The shoe compartment is also just fabric. You can compress it to create more space in the main compartment when not in use. That’s a sensible design you’ll find in almost any gym bag.

On the left side, Undeniable 4.0 has a mesh pocket. It’s an excellent spot for your water bottles, keeping them away from your items in the main compartment. This way, even if there’s any leak, your belongings stay dry. Canway Sports Gym Bag and INOXOTO Fitness Gym Bag rock the same feature. Bonus, the latter has a zipped pocket behind it.

The side pockets of this UA sports bag model are practical and functional. Breathability seems to be the primary motive, along with versatility.

Front Pockets

For your extras, Undeniable 4.0 has a couple of zipped front pockets. At the front, the small pocket works well for your Bluetooth headphones, mints, and some change. The bigger one behind it is a good place for your towels or tablet. That’s way ahead of Thule Chasm Duffel or Adidas Defender II, which don’t have any front pockets.

A plastic D-ring is also present as a lash point. If you want to clip in additional gear, you can utilize it to carry more.

But overall, the entire storage space you get with the UA Undeniable 4.0 sports bag is well-organized and well-thought. Every compartment has your ease of use in mind, and they perform with flying colors.

You can pack up your training shoes, some refreshment, lots of gear, and extra sets of clothing without any problem when using this sports bag from Under Armour.

Durability and water resistance are decent enough to withstand the test of time (under normal use). But still, manage your expectations. It’s not for super heavy hauling. The value Undeniable 4.0 returns for its price is reasonable. It’s not the best of the bunch- not the most comfortable or heavy-duty. But within its price point, this sports bag is an option that won’t let you down.
