It is indeed tricky to find compact equipment that would retain the qualities of a full-size one. The Leica Ultravid BR 8×20 binoculars are the exception. The present a fine line between size, quality and weight with minimum to no compromises made by the manufacturer. The suppression of stray light is uncanny – its roof prism mixed with the HighLux-System HLS and phase correcting coating P40 provides you with a bright and clear picture. The HDC multicoating and AquaDura coating present on outer lenses ensure you get a good contrast in the daytime.
The central focus knob allows you to focus on the object in the distance with no issues. Although this pair of mini binoculars cannot offer the same field of view that the regular-sized binoculars can, you still receive a comfortable viewing that is more than satisfactory. Pack it with you whenever you head out to explore your surroundings and you are bound to get a kick out of your viewing session.
