Leave it to a company that creates above-ground swimming pools, inflatable toys, and airbeds to make a great value-for-money air pump.
The Intex Quick-Fill Electric Air Pump comes in a variety of models, but we found the DC electric air pump to be the most suited for travel use.
Like the AGPTEK Quick-Fill, the Intex Quick-Fill is a straightforward, no-frills air pump you can use with your car’s DC power plug.
It’s equipped with 3 interconnecting nozzles for a wide variety of inflatables, such as inflatable rafts, air mattresses, and inflatable furniture. With a 12-foot, 12-volt DC power plug, the Intex Quick-Fill is particularly ideal for car camping.
The main drawback of the Intex Quick-Fill is that its nozzles tend to fall off while the pump is in use. Obviously, while this can easily be remedied by taping the nozzle to the pump, it does make it a bit tricky to use.
The air pump is also only compatible with low-pressure inflatables.
While the DC version of the Intex Quick-Fill is not suitable for high-pressure inflatables, it does have a pricier, high PSI version for athletic balls and inflatable paddle boards.
Still, if you’re in the market for a simple, universal electric air pump that won’t break the bank, the Intex Quick-Fill Electric Air Pump is worth considering.
