Description and details
Diving on the Solitude One in Micronesia and Palau
Solitude One
If you are on the hunt for a compact low-budget diving trip you need look no further than the Solitude One. It is a budget-friendly liveaboard that travels to amazing dive sites all over Micronesia. The liveaboard can accommodate up to 22 divers in spacious cabins. You will be treated to amazing dive sites in Palau and the crystal clear waters of the Philippines.
Boat Interior
The ex-merchant vessel is specifically catered to handle a group of divers while making their stay comfortable. The liveaboard can house 22 divers in 10 cabins that range from double, quad, twin and stateroom cabins. All of the cabins are fitted with en-suite bathrooms and are air-conditioned controlled. In the cabins, you will also find power sockets, ample storage space, and TV. Cabins can be found on the lower and upper decks of the liveaboard. The indoor lounge has plenty of seating for dive briefings and chats after a dive. There is also a camera room where you can manage your equipment without it getting in the way. In the evenings the beautifully decorated dining area will steal the show with delicious cuisine being served. Solitude One is a magnificent liveaboard that caters to all your needs.
Deck Areas
The dive deck is where the magic happens just before you dive into the turquoise blue water of Micronesia. All the dive gear can be found here for ease of access, also you will find a large camera rinse tank to keep your equipment clean. The small group of professional dive guides is always on hand to assist you where need be. Nitrox is stored in an organized way on the dive deck to clear up more space to move freely. On the sundeck, you will find lounge chairs as well as a hot tub for an out of this world relaxations experience with the salty breeze over the ocean. This is a great space to unwind and for non-divers to take in the views or do some stargazing.
Food and Entertainment
The liveaboard is filled with activities if you are not an avid diver or if you have time between dives. You will be treated to some perks in your leisure time like music which you can enjoy with fellow divers or friends on board. The lounge area is a perfect place to enjoy a movie or a quick snack while engaging with a fellow guest. The food is 5-star quality and you will be treated to delicious cuisine thrice a day. In addition, you will also be catered to snacks all through the day with fresh produce being a staple on the Solitude One. This is awesome as you can nibble on snacks while being awe-inspired by the dolphins swimming by on the upper deck.
The best time to go
It is best to go in summer months for optimal visibility in the water. The last few months of the year are the rainy seasons although you will find the water murky it is still suitable for wreck diving. However, the weather remains hot irrespective of the seasons.
