Diving on the Seawolf Dominator in Egypt and Sudan
Vessel Features
Seawolf Denominator is a luxury boat that was built in 2007 and had undergone a major renovation in 2015. It belongs to the fleet Seawolf Safari, which is known for its quality and well-appointed services, so every guest’s comfort is ensured.
The boat features a spacious and fully air-conditioned saloon that is equipped with large and comfortable sofas, up to date entertainment facilities, including flat screen television sets, audio speakers, computers, DVD players, and a lot more. The saloon has a mini library installed so book worms could feast on the books and other pieces of literature aboard. This is a perfect spot to relax with friends in a hot afternoon or in between dives.
For sun lovers, they may bask in the sun on two spots – a partially shaded sun deck is located on the lower deck while another one is situated on the upper deck, these locations are perfect as a chill out place in between dives while still enjoying the salty air on board. Both locations are equipped with sun loungers, tables, and chairs for every guest’s convenience.
The dive deck in Seawolf Denominator is large enough for divers to prepare their gears and clean them afterward. Also, there are large equipment storage boxes available, charging outlets, hanging area for wet suits, and freshwater showers for everybody’s use.
Regarding safety, Seawolf Denominator follows the recommended international standards for safety facilities. The boat is equipped with firefighting and alarm systems, there are life jackets and emergency rafts that could accommodate 20 persons each, oxygen, first aid kits, rescue equipment, and there are fire extinguishers available in every cabin and in the salon.
The Cabins
Seawolf Denominator is spacious enough to house 12 large cabins. There are 9 cabins situated on the lower deck, all equipped with double sized beds, air conditioning units, a mini bar, and en suite bathroom facilities; while on the upper deck, there are 3 suites that are equipped with large beds and other amenities. Each cabin is spacious enough for 2 guests, perfect for couples and honeymooners!
Dining
The dining area in Seawolf Denominator is large, fully air-conditioned, and is strategically located in a good spot perfect for panoramic sightseeing. Guests will definitely enjoy the international cuisine served three times a day in buffet style while enjoying the beauty of the sea. There are also light snacks and beverages such as coffee, tea, juices, soda, and water served all-day and are totally complimentary! For alcoholic drinks, guests may request it for a fee.
Itinerary
Seawolf Denominator navigates both in Sudan and Egypt, which gives guests a wide range of options to choose from. All guests, certified divers or not, will surely find the locations in the Red Sea enjoyable.
In the Egypt itineraries, guests may explore the triangle – Daedalus, Elphinstone, and Brother Islands, in which the latter is famous for the hard and soft corals that line its interiors, attracting a wide range of marine species. Divers with advanced certification could also explore the wreck diving sites in Abu Nuhas and Tistlegorm.
In the Sudan itineraries, the wreck diving sites are what attract the most, such as Umbria, one of the most recommended and a must-visit location, as it is where divers could explore some of the most fascinating sunken ships in the world. Guests may also take sight of the reef sharks, barracudas, and hammerheads in the area.
