Diving on the Red Sea Blue Force 2 in Egypt
Blue Force II is 28 meters/92 feet long and it is one of the best liveaboards to explore the Red Sea. Thousands of tourists and divers travel to Egypt to visit the Red Sea year after year, and many of them still return together with their family or friends. The Red Sea’s stunning underwater adventures, together with this liveaboard may be the reason why.
This yacht can welcome a total of 18 passengers in its ten cabins. The twin luxurious and comfortable cabins are located on the lower deck and on the top deck. These rooms have air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and big windows to watch the magnificent ocean view.
The saloon on the main deck has a flat screen TV, DVD, and a multimedia system. It is a perfect place to get along with other passengers on board and watch the latest movies after a day of diving. There is a large sun deck with bean bags under the shade and sun loungers which is a perfect place to enjoy the sun during the safari.
Guests may enter the dining area while watching the latest movies on board because there is never a dull moment on this boat. Adjacent to the saloon is the dining room. The crew on board serves a buffet-style meal together with complimentary drinks and free-flowing snacks between meals. The chef on board prepares a wide variety of mouth-watering local and international cuisine. A selection of wine, beer, and other beverages is available for purchase. For vegan, vegetarian and other specific dietary needs, guests may include their information upon booking to serve them better during the cruise.
The spacious dive deck has all the necessary equipment for every diver’s needs. There is a camera station for underwater photographers and a charging station for U/W equipment. There are separate rinse tanks for maintaining gears. Non-divers can try snorkeling to enjoy the abundant wonders of the Red Sea. Nitrox is available for free for those with certification and a log book. Diving courses and rental dive equipment is available with prior reservation. The professional guide dives are well-trained to know every dive site like the back of their hands. They will ensure a safe and enjoyable expedition during the safari.
The crew members on board will welcome every tourist with a cold cocktail and a complimentary snack upon boarding. There will be a mandatory briefing before the Red Sea cruise starts. Straits of Tiran are a submerged ridge that rises from more than 300 meters below. It is a passage between the Gulf of Aqaba and the main basin of the Red Sea. The Gordon Reef is a circular reef where vast plateaus and shipwreck remains can be spotted. Thomas Reef is the smallest reef of Tiran, and it is possible to circle the entire reef if the conditions are calm. Visit Anemone City, Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef at Ras Mohammed National Park. Vibrant anemones with dozens of clownfish and damsels are to be found. Get ready to see sightings of sharks, red snappers, tuna, and other large pelagic marine animals. Diving in Egypt is open year-round. Autumn and Spring offer the best conditions for diving.
