Description and details
Diving on the Quick Shadow in Egypt
MY Quick Shadow is not just for professional divers but also suitable for families. Completed in 2006, it is a modern dive ship of its generation to have ENOS. This vessel has a length of 32m and a width of 7m. Also, it is equipped with modern safety technology.
Boat Interior and Restaurant
MY Quick Shadow can accommodate 20 guests on board, and they can choose from the twin and quad cabins located on the lower deck which are made for sharing with family and friends. The deluxe cabins are situated on the main and the upper deck of this vessel. These staterooms have big windows and wardrobes to place their personal belongings. All rooms have its private bathroom with shower and air-condition. There is onboard free Wi-Fi, but it may not have a connection when mobile reception is not available.
Guests can relax at the big lounge, fully equipped with air-conditioning. They may also watch the latest movies or chat with fellow passengers onboard in between dives. The sundeck is perfect for a sunbath or guests may enjoy the ocean view from the shaded area with soft, comfortable sofas. The onboard chef will serve food with fresh ingredients in buffet-style meals with diverse international and local dishes.
Dive Deck
The dive deck has enough space to prepare for the dive and to maintain the dive equipment. There is a battery charging station, a rinsing tank for gears, a separate one to rinse camera after every dive as well as a hanging area for wet suits and big storage boxes for every diver. Rental equipment for an additional fee while nitrox is available for no extra charge. This vessel has life jackets, emergency rafts, first aid kits and a full range of safety equipment. The crew onboard are well-trained in first aid and know how to manage certain emergencies.
Itinerary
Someone will welcome guests at the airport and the transfer will be done in groups. MY Quick Shadow ventures the best destinations the Red Sea has to offer. Egypt has the full gambit of a golden diving experience opportunity to see the wonders of wrecks, walls, pinnacles, drifts, shore dives, and marine life. There is a total of 17 dives including night dives, but no night dives allowed in the marine parks.
Visit the Brother Island, reefs of Daedalus, Elphinstone and St. Johns. These places can offer you easy access to the Red Sea’s attractive locations for diving and training. Get a chance to see unicorn fish, wrasse, groupers, hammerheads, sharks and more. Hop on board to experience these exciting adventures.
When to Visit
Everyone can visit Egypt all year round because visibility and water temperature is just right all the time. We recommend you to book in spring until the middle of summer. Summer months may be too hot, and diving may not be that comfortable. It’s great to take a trip in autumn also, and divers may need a thicker wetsuit when visiting during winter. Permit fees, rental equipment, and other surcharges are payable on board. The methods of payments are local cash currency, EUR, USD, MasterCard and Visa.
