Diving on the Princess Haleema in the Maldives
Princess Haleema is a luxurious boat that was built in the year 2006. It is part of the fleet Sea Safari, which is renowned for their safety and quality service so it is ensured that Princess Haleema will take its guests to the best sea safari that the Maldives has to offer. The boat was recently renovated and is now equipped with modern facilities and amenities, including its engines and safety equipment, in order to ensure comfort and safety for every guest.
The indoor saloon has installed temperature control equipment that is perfect to beat the heat while traversing the Maldives waters. Also, modern entertainment facilities are available in the salon including a flat-screen television, computers, DVD players, stereos, and a mini-library. Guests may spend time here in between dives or during the night time while lying on their comfortable sofas, watching movies, chit-chatting with other guests, reading their favorite book, or while sipping a delicious cup of tea.
Sun decks are also available for those who prefer to spend time in the open air. There are two sun decks on Princess Haleema– the first one is located on the lower deck, which has sun shades, sun loungers, and comfortable tables and chairs installed; while on the upper deck, one may enjoy the sun in its full glory while on a sun lounger. Also, there are several hot tubs available, so one could enjoy the sunset and the Maldives breeze while lazing around in a hot tub.
The dive deck is large enough for guests to prepare their diving equipment and for the maintenance after diving. A hanging area is also available for the wet suits, as well as freshwater showers, large storage boxes, and charging areas. For divers needing Nitrox and equipment rental, these are available onboard for a fee. Safety is ensured on board as it has quality safety equipment and alarm systems including life rafts, life vests, fire alarms and firefighting systems, and first aid kits. In the saloon and in every cabin, a fire extinguisher is also installed.
A total of 11 spacious cabins are housed on Princess Haleema. There are double rooms and twin rooms on the middle deck, with each cabin installed with air-conditioning units, en-suite bathroom facilities, and a dresser. The amenities mentioned are also available in the two suites located on the upper deck, having also the advantage of spectacular views of the sea.
The dining area is located strategically to provide a stunning view of the Maldives waters while enjoying food served in buffet style three times a day! The interiors in the dining area are designed to give a feel of warmth, luxury, and style.
Also, guests will surely enjoy the filling afternoon snack served to every guest. Beverages such as coffee, tea, and soda as well as light snacks such as crackers and nuts are also available all day long and they are completely free of charge!
Princess Haleema traverses the Maldivian waters in different itineraries. Guests may enjoy the Central Atolls of the Maldives to visit the famous dive sites in Male, Ari, Vaavu, Thaa, Meemu, Laamu atolls. These destinations are renowned for their rich marine life including huge mantas, blacktip sharks, whale sharks, and other variety of sharks, turtles, schools of fish, reef sharks, and jacks. The South Atolls of the Maldives are also an option for that exciting channel dive.
