Diving on the Ombak Putih liveaboard in Indonesia
This liveaboard was built in 1995 and recently renovated in 2015. It has a 42 meters/137.7 feet length and a maximum speed of 10 knots per hour. This vessel has a fresh-water maker that offers fresh hot showers every day for the guests. Ombak Putih has many on board as well as water activities that are great for families and groups of friends.
Boat Interior
This vessel can accommodate a total of 24 passengers to its 12 comfortable cabins. Each cabin has individual air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, space for luggage, and fresh towels from daily housekeeping. The twin cabins, double cabins, and triple bed cabins are located below the deck and have portholes safety deposit boxes.
The indoor saloon has an A/V entertainment system, where guest can socialize with other passengers. The spacious sun deck is perfect for sun lovers and the partly shaded deck is good for relaxation. Book enthusiasts can visit the small library filled with magazines and books.
There are charging stations, outside showers, rinse hoses for u/v cameras and an outdoor dining area suitable for barbecue parties. Water activities include snorkeling and kayak expeditions. Guests can reserve snorkeling equipment upon booking and pay with cash on board.
Restaurant
The modern style restaurant with cushioned seating serves buffet-style meals from local and international cuisines. Tasty meals are carefully prepared and served together with complimentary drinks. Snacks are available between meals, and other alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. For vegan, vegetarian and other specific dietary requirements, it can be requested upon booking. Guests may also talk to our booking agents to assist them better.
Boat Safety
Ombak Putih has all the necessary safety and navigation facilities: radar, GPS, radio, satellite phones, safety rafts that are reachable for easy access and life vests in every room. The staff members are trained in giving first aid and are always ready to respond in an emergency.
Itinerary
This vessel offers unique itineraries around the Indonesian archipelago. Staff will welcome guests with cocktails and snacks upon checking in. A short briefing and introduction will be provided to give guests time to relax and know the way around the vessel before starting the tour. Friendly guides will ensure every guest has a memorable safari, and crew members are always ready to give a hand whenever they are needed.
The Lesser Sunda Islands offer a variety of tourist spots to enjoy extraordinary explorations. The incredible elevated landscapes will surely leave guests in awe form this region and the amazing large lizards can be found on Komodo island. The Lesser Sunda Islands is a popular tourist spot known all over the world. Therefore many people visit this island all year. Mount Kelimutu has three multi-colored crater lakes that are extinct. Thus, different mountains from this region have molded by nature millions of years ago. Ombak Putih travels through Indonesian peninsula all year and the best time to visit is between the months of May and September when the days are dry.
