Description and details

Diving on the Oceanic in Indonesia

Renovated in 2016, this 28m (92 feet) liveaboard will bring you to the most exotic and remote islands year-round. The Oceanic crew, with 16 years of experience, praise on their timing and planning. Offering you a truly adventurous trip filled with many unexpected turns and positive outcomes is the only goal. No matter if you like beautiful beaches, quiet places, traditional villages - you name it, there will be something foreveryone.

Interior and Features

The liveaboard offers 6 deluxe double cabins. All of them are air-conditioned and equipped with a 90cm (35 inches) extra bunk and en-suite bathrooms. All of them being fully renovated, they follow the same principle as the dining room - a combination of a clear and dark tropical wood. If you end up being on the lower deck, know that you got a more spacious suite. However, it is the upper deck suites that are getting the sea view, so everyone can get what they prefer.

You will surely like the equipment you can find on board. If you are a diver, you will enjoy the aspect of having a compressor and nitrox membrane system. Staying longer under the water will not be a problem on this vessel. But divers are not the only happy campers. Marine photographers will enjoy the room it is provided all for maintaining their gear. On top of that, the charging station always comes handy.

All About Divers Food

The food is a big thing on the Oceanic. There is Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, and Italian main meal dishes and desserts. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy the “when the east-meets-west” style breakfast. It is served buffet style with two main dishes per sitting. So, no matter if you need a big dish after diving, or you love to taste new food, the Oceanic crew got you covered.

Itinerary

You will never feel bored on board the Oceanic. Guests have a list of places they can choose to visit. No matter if that is Komodo Park, Maumere, Alor or the Forgotten Islands; everything is just a matter of choice. Komodo Park will offer you great underwater landscapes.

The Forgotten Islands will bring you to encounters with octopuses, pygmy horses or nudibranchs. And you will love the colored coral. There are more than 600 coral species that can be encountered in this area. If you like to visit the North Komodo, it is suggested to be visited in the period of Aprilto November.

The Southern parts, however, are in their best colors from December to March. The Oceanic can take you to the spectacular dive sites when the weather is at its best, making sure the crowd from other boats is not there. All that’s left is for you to decide where you want to go and of course, what you want to do.
