Diving on the Nai’a liveaboard in Fiji
The liveaboard Nai’a
The Nai’a was built in 1979 and has been renovated in 2010. Throughout the 41year existence of the Nai’a, it has been a luxury boat that has stood the test of time in the islands of Fiji. It was designed by a marine architect and great craftsmanship went into building the liveaboard with native Fijian hardwoods. With the liveaboard, you can explore canyons, seascapes, caverns, and wall dives. You will also get to 1200 fish species and 390 soft and hard corals.
Boat Interior
The layout of the Nai’a is custom made for liveaboard diving. The 9 spacious cabins are suited to house 18 guests in air-conditioned staterooms with en-suite bathrooms. All of the 9 cabins were rebuilt in 2010 and they are large with ample storage space. All of the cabins have 110v and 220v power outlets. You will find that are four different cabin types namely, King bed, King bed with bunk, king bed that splits into singles and bunk beds feet over feet. Moreover, the boat operator will assign cabins according to the composition of the group. The main saloon is the main attraction on the Nai’a with its golden grains of Fijian hardwoods.
Dive Deck on the liveaboard
The dive deck is spaciously laid out for ease of access when going on dives. Moreover, the liveaboard has a dry camera and video room specifically made for all the photography enthusiasts. On the dive deck, you will also have fresh water rinse tanks and compressed air for easy cleaning and drying. You will get to experience the expertise and in-depth knowledge of the surroundings.
Food on the Nai’a
Only the freshest and locally sourced produced are used when preparing meals on the liveaboard. You will get served fresh meats and fish that are well prepared by the chef. You will get internationally prepared cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and supper. There is also a waitress service in the saloon where you get to enjoy and on the menu are soup, salad, coffee, tea, soft drinks, water, fruit, biscuits, and snacks all of which are provided free of charge. You will get one glass of wine for free at dinner. There are also beer, spirits, and bottles of wine which will be charged for. The chef can cater to all dietary requirements; however, a notice should be sent beforehand with your requirements.
