Diving on the MY Discovery Adventure in the Philippines
M/Y Discovery Adventure has many years of experience exploring the Philippine ocean, and tourists around the world have given positive reviews about the high-quality service that this boat can offer. This boat has a length of 47m/154f with a cruising speed of seven knots per hour.
This boat can accommodate a total of 28 guests to its 14 comfortable cabins located at the upper and lower deck. Each cabin has to air-condition, private bathrooms with hot and cold showers, storage for clothing and large windows. Also, housekeeping is daily monitored to maintain cleanliness. There is a spacious saloon, which is a great place for socialization that has an audio and video entertainment system, and the sundeck has sun loungers, which is a suitable place for sunbathing.
The professional crew serves a variety of healthy and delicious meals from local and international cuisines made from fresh ingredients from the local market. Complimentary drinks and snacks are available throughout the journey. Guests can enjoy a buffet-style setting, which varies every day to suit everyone’s appetite. There is an excellent selection of wine and alcoholic beverages aboard available for purchase. Vegan and vegetarian options are provided for those who need a plant-based diet. There is a scheduled beach BBQ to look forward to in every destination. We recommend guests to add their specific dietary requirements on the booking form to assist them better onboard. We only cater requests with food allergies and religious beliefs.
We make sure that M/Y Discovery Adventure is ready for every expedition by following the Boat Safety checklist. It has necessary boat navigation and safety equipment such as life vest places on every level of this boat, life rafts, emergency oxygen, fire extinguishers, satellite phones, and first aid kits. The professional staff can facilitate first aid as well as manage any situation that might come on board.
The spacious dive deck has facilities for diving expedition and large enough to accommodate divers for their dive preparation. There is a separate rinsing tank for underwater cameras, camera tables, storage gears, photography stations and charging stations. There are rebreather support, tenders for diving and side mount diving. Nitrox is available for those with certification and a dive logbook. Also, Equipment rental equipment and watersports gear can be reserved upon booking and needs to be paid onboard. The professional dive guides speak English, and they are on hand to assist every diver.
We offer budget-friendly itinerary packages that have six to eight days of accommodation and approximately 21 dives including night dives. Expect a warm welcome from the onboard staff, including refreshments and snacks upon checking-in. A short briefing and introduction are provided to give guests safety guidelines and the itinerary plan. Visit Ranger Station, Tubbataha Reef, Amos Rock, Wall Street, Black Rock, Delsan Wreck, Shark Airport, Seafan Alley and Jessie Beazley Reef. Capture amazing whitetip reef sharks, blacktip reef sharks, hammerheads, a variety school of fish, mantas, turtles, and whale sharks. The best time to visit the Philippines is during the dry season between November and April when it is unlikely to rain.
