4 reasons to dive
- Many divers said that the diving instructors were professional and thought them a great deal about the surrounds and scuba diving.
- Many people were happy with spacious common area and the cabins that exceeded expectations.

Diving on the MV Xavier 3 in Galapagos
MV Xavier III – fall in love with the beautiful islands of Galapagos
The 25 meters (approx. 86 feet) stylish Xavier III is considered one of the best liveaboards of its kind because of its amazing exteriors, courteous crew, lavish interior, and high-level comfort. It cruises with stability at a top speed of 12 knots per hour, due to the powerful engine, which makes it super silent, yet fast. The main itineraries of the short cruise include Black Turtle Cove, Mosquera Island, Santa Fe, and Santiago Islands. Whereas, in the long cruise route to the ancient Inca sites and the lost city Machu Picchu. You may experience the diverse wildlife, colonies of colorful birds, naughty dolphins, jolly sea lions, giant tortoise and much more. There is amazing visibility of a variety of shark species. All the dives are done under the supervision of a dive master.
Boat Interior
The interior of the boat aligns well with the amenities provided on the Xavier III. 16 guests are welcomed by a crew of 7 members with great hospitality. There are 8 air-conditioned cabins in which the guests are accommodated with vital necessities that are required to make the trip amongst the memorable ones. The cabins located on the upper deck have large windows and the lower deck cabins have portholes so guests can enjoy the views of the surroundings from the cabins. The common areas are perfect for socializing with other divers.
Deck Area
The decks of Xavier III are incorporated with plenty of communal space. Whether you want to socialize, relax or want to enjoy your solitude on the yacht in the fresh sea breeze and fascinating vistas of the surrounding. The spacious sun deck is wisely equipped with sun loungers and deck chairs, where you can enjoy the bright sun rays. On the main deck, there is a lounge, a bar, and a restaurant with pleasant seating. There is a coffee station from where you can get a coffee of your choice throughout the day.
Food and Entertainment
For the in-house entertainment, there is a cozy indoor lounge area with a flat screen TV, large porch, board games, and a bar. You can socialize with the other divers or simply enjoy your solitude while gazing at the breathtaking views of the beautiful archipelago from the large windows. On land and off-board activities are planned by the cruise director. You can enjoy snorkeling, hiking and live BBQs during beach excursions. As water toys and Jet skis are prohibited in the Galapagos, you can enjoy the rental equipment available on Xavier III. The experienced chef is ever ready to please you with his culinary art. Local and international cuisines are presented in a buffet thrice a day. Whereas, selective snacks and multiple beverages are available all day long. Special dietary requirements are also catered for on prior requests.
When to go
Galapagos is a year-round destination and welcomes enthusiastic travelers throughout the year. It lies on the Equator of the earth but still doesn’t have much tropical weather. The experienced explorers of the Galapagos suggest two main seasons for visiting, the dry and wet seasons. Shark lovers should plan their trip from June to November as the water of Galapagos is crowded with a variety of sharks with amazing visibility.
