MV Spoilsport – maximum award holding liveaboard in Australia
The 30 meters (approx. 98.5 feet) steel-built yacht was built in 1989. It is a prominent member of the Mile Ball Dive Expeditions, who are world-wide famous for providing a luxurious cruise and vital amenities without compromising on the performance. The Spoilsport liveaboard is awarded maximum awards as compared to any other liveaboard in Australia. It is a custom-built yacht, which provides safe and exciting dives with the utmost facilities. Spoilsport is a multi-hulled yacht with two equal-sized parallel hulls, which decrease the motion onboard and increase the stability and comfort in all aspects. The powerful engine makes it stable enough to cruise at a speed of 12 knots per hour and a top speed of 15 knots per hour. This super-speedy catamaran takes less time traveling so that you have more time to explore the natural landscapes and underwater life.
Boat Interior
Spoilsport liveaboard is a beautifully designed inside-out. The dedicated and experienced crew of 12 welcomes 28 guests onboard with great hospitality. To accommodate these guests, there are 14 commodious cabins. For budget-oriented travelers, there are budget cabins with shared bathroom and bunk beds. Whereas, the travelers who seek an intimate stay on a cruise can select Club cabins with en-suite bathroom and bunk-style beds. The remaining cabins are slightly bigger in size, with portholes and private features. The standard cabin of Spoilsport is can be shared with a fellow traveler and is equipped with a twin bed. There is a double bed in a premium cabin, which makes it ideal for a family.
Deck Area
There is a large dive deck with eminent facilities that help to make your diving safe and comfortable. All the dives with Spoilsports are done under the supervision of the divemaster and dive guide. this deck is fully equipped with rental equipment, storage boxes, camera stations, rinsing tank to wash and maintain the equipment after dive. EANx certified divers can avail the facility of Nitrox. There is a partially covered area on the spacious sundeck. When not engaged in diving and other activities, guests can enjoy their time relaxing and gazing at the astonishing views of the surrounding on the sundeck, which is furnished with plenty of sunbeds and deck chairs.
Food and Entertainment
The chef onboard presents their delicious talent thrice a day along with catering the maximum dietary requirements. You can also enjoy freshly made snacks and fruits at any time of the day. There is a variety of options for in-house entertainment. The cruise director plans day-to-day fun-filled activities for the guests so that they have a memorable trip with Spoilsport.
When to go
Australia is a year-round visiting place as the temperature, climate, and other conditions are suitable for travelers all around the world. the temperature of water ranges between 24 – 28-degree C. November to April is considered warmer months. Whereas, the temperature is cooler in May to October. June and July are best for the divers who want to have a thrilling experience with a minke whale.
