Description and details
Diving on the Manta Mae in Indonesia
Boat Features
With a length of 31 meters/102 feet, Manta Mae beautifully cruises its route since 2014. It has a top speed of 9 knots, courtesy of its Mitsubishi marine engine type 8DC9 with 295 HP.
Built in a traditional Phinisi style, the liveaboard offers plenty of space for relaxation. Situated on the main deck is the indoor saloon which comes with full air conditioning. It has a lounge area and a bar. Other features of the saloon include an icemaker, plasma TV and an Apple computer.
The main deck also offers space to those who love to let the sun gently kiss their skin either for some tanning or just fora daily dose of the natural vitamin D. Sunbathing is best enjoyed in this spot as the eyes feast on the wonders of the Indonesian sceneries. The indoor dining tables host al fresco eating where freshly prepared meals are served.
The diving deck is spacious and ideal for small diving groups. It also hosts a kayak and 3 RIB tenders.
If you are tired of the diving quests and other activities, relaxing massages can be availed courtesy of the liveaboard’s experienced Balinese therapist. An hour of massage is a wonderful way to relax the body and bring it back to it’s best diving form or just before engaging in several water sports and adventures offered by the yacht.
The Cabins
The Manta Mae can host a maximum of 9 guests through its 3 cabins.
The Master Cabin has a king-sized bed and an additional single bed. Two Deluxe cabins both offer queen size beds and single beds each.
All of the yacht’s cabins have en-suite bathrooms, individual air conditioning, TV sets, and safety boxes.
Food and Beverage
Manta Mae’s chef and crew assure only the best food experience for the guests. Meals of Indonesian and Western cuisines are served. Snacks in between the full meals are also served and are usually accompanied by servings of fresh juices. If there are special dietary requirements specifically for vegetarians, vegans, or for those who want their food free of gluten, special arrangements can always be made. Servings of soft drinks, beers, and fine wines can also be availed.
During land excursions on Indonesia’s beaches, BBQs can be enjoyed while enjoying the sands, water, and sun. These land-based activities are also good for having a glimpse of the Indonesian culture, history and ecology – all at the same time. Historic forts, traditional villages, and virgin forests situated on the islands are for you to discover.
Itinerary
Circling the Komodo National Park, Bali, Spice Islands and Raja Ampat routes all year round, the Manta Mae gives guests a cruise anywhere between 4 nights to 11 nights depending on the chosen route upon booking.
But regardless of the chosen route, the itinerary of the cruise is surely worth it and in no time will be part of the guest’s nostalgia. Its regular scheduled trips are perfect to explore the far-flung islands of Indonesia.
