Description and details
Diving on the M/Y Longimanus in Egypt
M/Y Longimanus provides comfortable and relaxing accommodation. This boat started its journey in 2003 which earned many positive reviews from hundreds of tourists who traveled on this boat. It has a length of 36m/118f with two zodiacs plus this boat can produce 6000 liters of fresh water per day.
Boat Interior
This boat can accommodate a total of 20 divers to its eight comfortable cabins located on the lower deck and two suite cabins on the upper deck. The cabins have individual air-conditioning, private bathrooms with hot and cold showers, a mini-bar and bathrobes. Housekeeping is daily monitored to keep every room neat and clean for every passenger. The spacious saloon has cozy furniture with audio and video entertainment system that is adjacent to the dining area. The small library is filled with magazines and marine life books together with the charging station. The sun deck has sun lounger which is a perfect place for ocean viewing and socialization. Guests can always connect with their family and friends with the free Wi-Fi onboard.
Restaurant
The professional chef serves healthy and nutritious meals from local and international cuisines made with fresh ingredients from the local market. Full board meals are served in a buffet style setting that vary every day to suit everyone’s appetite together with the complimentary drinks and snacks available all day at the fully stocked bar. Vegan and
vegetarian options are available. Alcoholic beverages are available with additional purchase. Guests can add other requests for specific dietary needs on the booking form to serve you better on board. We only cater requests for food allergies and religious beliefs.
Boat Safety
Our priority is to provide safe and convenient travel. We make sure that this liveaboard follows the Boat Safety checklist before sailing. M/Y Longimanus has complete boat navigation and safety equipment including life vests on every room of this boat, life rafts, emergency oxygen, fire extinguishers, satellite phones, and first aid kits that are
accessible in a time of need. The professional staff members are well-trained to facilitate first aid. Also, they are always ready to respond in any situation that might occur onboard.
Diving Deck
The dive deck has a spacious area for every diver located at the back of this ship. It has a storage gear, rinsing equipment, fresh water showers, and charging station for underwater equipment. The professional guides will lead you to the famous locations around the Red Sea. Nitrox is free for those with certification, and rental gears are
available for reservation.
Itinerary
The friendly crew welcomes guests with refreshments and snacks upon joining aboard. A short briefing is given to provide guests with safety guidelines and the itinerary plans. Enjoy approximately 17 dives including night dives on open water and visit the Big Brother that has abundant of coral gardens and variety of sharks. Explore Gota Soraya, Gota Kebir, Habili Ali, Habili Jaffar, Daedalus Reef, Rocky Island, and Zabargad. The best time to visit the Red Sea is between September, March, and April which has pleasant daytime weather.
