Description and details
Diving on the La Unua in Indonesia
La Unua – an ultimate luxurious vessel for an intimate vacation
The 23 meters (approx. 76 feet) opulent vessel is a masterpiece of the fleet. This steel-hulled schooner was made from the finest ironwood and local teak wood from Sulawesi. The combination of local design with modern amenities has made it one of the best of its kind. You can enjoy the intimate vacation with your friends or family in a more personalized way with the La Unua liveaboard. The stylish phinisi cruises at a maximum speed of 7 knots/hour. The exceptionally beautiful natural views of Komodo will leave you speechless at the first glimpse. While diving at the site, you can explore small to large fishes, soft and hard corals, and pristine reefs. You can also have a thrilling lifetime memory of seeing the Komodo dragons at Komodo National Park.
Boat Interior – classic design with modern facilities
The boat is designed to perfection and is a masterpiece of the Tanah Beru craftsmen from South Sulawesi. There are 3 luxurious cabins to provide an intimate trip to maximum of 6 divers on board. The lesser number of guests has made La Unua a more personalized yacht, which is ideal for a close group of friends or family. The cabins are incorporated with all the eminent facilities, which include en-suite bathrooms, temperature control a/c systems, luggage area and much more. One deluxe cabin is on the main deck and the rest of the cabins are located on the lower deck.
Deck Areas – ideal areas for the enthusiastic divers
The dive deck has equipment which is available for rent. There are multiple dive options from fun to challenging and adventurous. Each dive is ensured to have a safe lounge as it is done under the supervision of qualified instructors. The upper deck of the boat has communal areas which include a bar, sun deck, plenty of side sittings to enjoy the open sea breeze and the astonishing vista of the natural landscapes complemented with the turquoise water of the Indonesian sea.
Food and Entertainment
The indoor saloon is completely furnished and air-conditioned. It has modern electronic facilities like an audio-visual entertainment system, DVDs, music, power sockets to charge electronic devices and TV. You can exchange your views and have a chat with the fellow divers while having a glass of a chilled beverage. After having a fun-filled dive, the body needs fueling. The chef on board is ready to accept the challenge to prepare a new exciting menu from western and local delicacies along with delicious desserts. The food is served three times but you can satisfy your hunger with a range of snacks and a variety of beverages which are available throughout the day.
When to go
You can explore thousands of islands with a spectacular archipelago in the Indonesian sea any month the year. But according to the climatic conditions, April to November are preferred and are best for planning a dive safari adventure to the Komodo and world-heritage Komodo National Park.
