Description and details
Diving on the Fun Azul III in Maldives
Vessel Features
Fun Azul III is a luxurious boat that was built in 2002 but was recently renovated in 2017 updating all of its facilities and amenities, including the engine and the interior design. It is regularly checked and maintained in order to ensure quality service on board. Fun Azul III runs with a top-notch engine and navigation system so that problems that concern these will never be a worry.
The indoor saloon is equipped with an air conditioning unit, comfortable sofas, tables, and chairs, and modern entertainment systems including a flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo, theatre-quality speakers, and a mini library! For those who would love to use the internet, Wi-Fi is also available for a surcharge. This could be a fun place for late night talks over a cup of coffee, or just a quick hang out in between dives. The indoor saloon, as well as the bar, is located on the main deck.
For those who prefer to spend time in an open area, they may choose from three sun decks on board. Two spacious and partially shaded sun lounges could be found on the lower deck, which is equipped with luxurious sun loungers, as well as tables and chairs. Guests could also stay on the upper deck, with all of the amenities mentioned on the lower deck also available. The sun decks are the perfect place to relax and feel the breeze of the Maldivian air, while having the blue waters in sight.
The Cabins
Fun Azul III has 8 spacious cabins that are located on the different areas on the boat. On the lower deck, a total of 7 cabins could be found – 2 deluxe twin cabins are available that are equipped with two side by side single beds, and 5 deluxe cabins with 1 double bed and 1 single bunk bed installed. The last 1 cabin could be found on the main deck. Each of the cabins is equipped with an air conditioning unit, en-suite bathroom facilities, a mini refrigerator, dresser, and safe storage for the valuables.
Itinerary
Guests may choose to traverse the Central, Southern, or Deep South Atolls of the Maldives with Fun Azul III. Each of the locations has its own beauty, for instance, in the Ari Atolls, guests will truly enjoy the rich corals in the site, as well as mantas and hammerheads if they are lucky!
