Diving on the Freedom VIII in Egypt
This yacht is an ideal boat to explore the Red Sea with family and friends. It has a length of 22 meters/72 feet and a maximum speed of 12 knots per hour. This vessel has all the complete amenities that guest may need for any exploration. This ship is a fantastic vessel that will surely give tourists the best holiday they can have.
Boat Interior
M/Y Freedom VIII can accommodate a minimum of six guests up to a maximum of 11 guests. It’s an ideal choice for private charters and small groups. There are five different cabins on the boat, a master bed cabin, a twin bed cabin, and a triple bed cabin with individual air-conditioning. All the cabins have private bathrooms and big storage spaces for personal belongings. This vessel is spacious enough for every passenger to feel comfortable on board. The fully air-conditioned saloon has a complete entertainment system for socialization. An outdoor lounge area is a perfect place for sun lovers to have their tan done. There’s one sundeck at the bow with cushioned sittings. Passengers can share photographs of their safari with family and friends back home with the use of free Wi-Fi on board.
Restaurant
The saloon is adjacent to the dining area, that offers tasty buffet-style meals. The chef on board serves a variety of local and international cuisines, including complimentary drinks and snacks in between the meals. Beer, wine, and spirits are available for purchase on board. Guests may include any dietary requests upon booking, may we advise to limit these to food allergies and beliefs.
Dive Deck
Freedom VIII may be small, but it has enough space for the divers to move around the dive deck and the dive tender. The professional and friendly guides are always on hand to bring divers to the most remote areas that only liveaboards can visit. They are trained to know every dive area like the back of their hands. Snorkelling is available for non-divers who want to have an ocean adventure. There are a charging station and outside showers including a separate rinse area for underwater cameras.
Itinerary
Enjoy the best sites that Freedom VIII can offer. The crew team will give you a warm welcome with a tasty snack upon checking in. After giving a short briefing, the vessel will leave the port to start the safari. The famous Thislegorm is an ultimate dive site for wreck lovers, and this place attracts a school of barracuda, snappers and giant tunas. Straits of Tiran is located near the coast of Nabq. This area is best to dive in when there is no current. Soft corals around the area make this an interesting dive site. Jackson Reef is one of the most beautiful Sharm el Sheikh dive sites. It has abundant coral plateaus with amazing sea walls. The ocean water is crystal clear during the summer, and everyone can enjoy the view from above. Thislegorm is a historical place, and there are pieces of machinery and equipment from World War II still left underwater. The Red Sea has many dive sites to offer for everyone who wants to have an adventure. Egypt is open for tourists all year, and it’s also great to visit during autumn.
