Diving on the Freedom III in Egypt
Freedom III is 28m/98 feet long, and it has a speed of 10 knots per hour. This liveaboard offers scuba diving explorations for both individuals and charter groups. The dive vessel has extensive features for divers and guests to maximize their holiday. Our Shark Bay Umbi crew are incomparable to others. They will give their outstanding service to make everyone’s holiday special.
This liveaboard can accommodate up to 20 guests in its ten cozy cabins. There are six twin and triple cabins on the lower deck. The double cabin is the only room with an in-front ocean view, and quadruple cabins are on the main deck. Each room has air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, audio and video entertainment, mini-fridge, hair-dryer and a safe. Common areas on board include two sun decks on the opposite ends of the boat, an indoor saloon and dining area with a plasma TV and entertainment system. There is enough space for everyone to relax and hang out together.
Complimentary beverages and snacks are available onboard. Enjoy the festive buffet-style meals varied in local and western cuisines with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. We recommend guests to add any specific dietary needs upon booking to help them better.
The dive deck is spacious for every divers’ activities and needs. There is an outside shower, a separate rinsing area for diving equipment and charging stations for underwater cameras. Divers should provide their rental needs upon booking to reserve the proper diving gear for them and Nitrox is free for those with certification. Non-divers can enjoy snorkeling to see all kinds of colorful fish and other marine life. Freedom III has complete safety equipment aboard. The crew is well-trained in first aid and ready to respond in any emergencies
Travel to the most remote areas of the Red Sea and experience an unforgettable safari. Visit the best dives sites in Tiran, Ras Mohammed National Park, Thislegorm and Dunraven shipwrecks. The Straits have four reefs. These reefs rise from the deep and are swept daily by strong water currents. This place is abundant with tuna, barracuda, and varieties of shark species. There are incredible vertical walls with a school of fish and large pelagic. Ras Mohammed has steep walls covered in coral and abundant with different reef fish, turtles, and sharks. Explore the Shark and Yolanda reef to view the breath-taking ocean topography. Divers can drift dive at Jackfish Alley and enjoy taking photographs of white tip sharks. The Red Sea is a beautiful place to scuba dive any time of the year, although the water temperature may vary in every season. We recommend that you visit between November to April based on temperature and humidity. The ocean view is crystal clear, and the water current varies during these seasons. Whenever you decide to visit the Red Sea, we will openly welcome you to Freedom III, and we will surely complete your holiday.
