Diving on the Four Seasons Explorer in the Maldives

This liveaboard is a floating hotel complete with relaxation necessities to make every guest comfortable during the trip. It is 39 m/127.95 feet with luxurious three-deck plus leisure activities. There are plenty of activities for professional divers and non-divers around the Maldives peninsula.

Boat Interior

This three-deck catamaran boat can accommodate a total of 22 guests to its ten spacious staterooms and the palatial Explorer Suite. Each room has an overview of the ocean and cozy enough for resting every after a day of exploration. Also, all cabins have large windows, teak furnishings, air-conditioning, private bathrooms with bathtubs and walk-in closets. There are also day-beds, refrigerator, private bar and a flat-screen TV with the latest movies for kids and young-at-heart. The spacious saloon is equipped with audio and video entertainment, a small library filled with marine life books as well as comfortable sofas suitable for socialization. The spa facility offers massage services that give special high-quality service.


The menu onboard has a variety of different cuisines from different regions. Breakfast is in a la carte choices also lunch and dinner are in a buffet-style setting. The chef onboard prepared dishes with fresh ingredients. Guests can dine in the air-conditioned dining area or in the alfresco area. There are extensive wine list and free flow of drinks throughout the safari. The fully stocked bar offers a variety of hot and cold drinks as well as snacks in between meals. The most awaited activity is the beach barbecue party where tourists can enjoy delectable meals while enjoying the white sand beaches. We observe dietary restrictions, and we encourage guests to list down their requests on the booking form to serve them better on board.

Boat Safety

The Four Seasons Explorer can conquer ocean waves and has all the necessary equipment to keep everyone safe during the journey. Life jackets are on every room of this boat, life rafts, emergency oxygen kit, and first aid kits are accessible in case of emergency. The crew members are well-trained to give firsts aids and can manage any situation that might occur onboard.

Dive Deck

There are onboard PADI 5-Star Dive Center and dive vessel. The diving facility offers a battery charging station for underwater cameras, international sockets, and outdoor warm-water showers. Nitrox is free for those with certification and a dive logbook. Non-divers can enjoy watersports activities like snorkeling, stand up paddling, windsurfing, kayaking, and fishing to have the ultimate adventure during the safari. Rental dive equipment and watersports gear are available for reservation upon booking.


The friendly staff welcomes guests with refreshments and snacks upon boarding. A short briefing and introduction are given to provide guests with safety guidelines together with the itinerary plan. The Maldives has thousands of visitors all year in its wonderful islands where whale sharks, grey reef sharks and other variety of ocean creatures reside within. Capture the abundant coral gardens, pinnacles, and different aquatic plants and share among your friends back home. The best time to visit the Maldives is from November to April when the weather is dry and sunny.
