- Several divers reorted that they loved the night dives with the dolphins at Thistlegorm.
- Many people said that there were many photo opportunities and the geographical range is far better than that of the day boats.
- Some people noted that the crew were very helpful in taking the non-divers snorkeling to experience the reefs.
- Divers commended the dive guide at choosing the right times for the dives separate of the masses of the day divers.
- Several divers said they went to explore a lot of wrecks that laid at the bottom of the Red Sea and this was picturesque moments.
- The food was delicious and the chef really out did himself with the buffet style feast.

Diving on the Emperor Superior in Egypt
Boat Interior and Facility
This vessel has five types of Cabins to choose from: Standard Twin Cabins and Lower Deck Bunk Cabins at the lower deck; Standard Twin Cabins, Upper Deck Double Cabins and Main Deck Single Cabins at the upper deck. It has a total of 13 deluxe cabins that can accommodate up to 25 guests on board. Each cabin has an individual air-conditioning, en suite bathroom, minibar, and fresh towels.
Furthermore, there is an audio and video entertainment system at the lounge area to enjoy after a day of diving, two large sun decks for relaxing and sunbathing, a small library where you can learn more about fish and other ocean creatures, board games for the young at heart and a computer/laptop with local internet connection.
Restaurant on Board
Experience the local Egyptian dishes and International buffet style meals prepared with care by the professional chef aboard served at the spacious restaurant. Soft drinks, afternoon snacks, tea, premium coffee, and water are inclusive including red wine to be served at dinner. Other wines, beer and beverages are available for a fee. If you prefer vegetarian dishes or have any allergies, please inform us before coming on board.
Dive deck
The dive deck is big enough to accommodate each diver to prepare for their dive. There are large storage boxes for the gear. There is diving gear available for rent on this boat; please provide your rental needs and other requests on the booking form. The dive deck also has a dive platform where you can enjoy diving under the hot sun. This lovely yacht is packed with fire alarms, radar, depth sounder, GPS, rafts, life vests, first aid kits, and medical oxygen. The crew on this vessel is well-trained in giving first aid. Two dive guides are always available to assist divers and there is a minimum of 2 dives per day on the Red Sea. Nitrox is also available for certified divers.
Itinerary
A representative of the liveaboard will be waiting for you at the arrival hall. The boat departs Hurghada early in the morning on the following day. Emperor Superior sails year-round from Hurghada and offers four itineraries: Classic Cruise, The Famous Five, Simply the Best and Reefs & Wrecks. Experience the iconic wrecks and stunning reefs across the northern Red Sea, as well as the hard coral gardens with the abundance of reef fish and also the Marine Park with colourful reefs pinnacle and underwater mountains.
When to Visit
Diving in Egypt is possible throughout the year. The best time to visit its dive spots is autumn when water temperature is not too high like in the summer months. Emperor Superior welcomes the beginner and experienced divers.
