Description and details
Diving on the Dolce Vita in Egypt
M/Y Dolce Vita is 38 meters/124 feet long and was recently renovated in 2018, finished with a modern interior. It has a speed of 11 knots per hour and has its own freshwater maker.
This modern and contemporary vessel can accommodate 24 guests in its 12 comfortable cabins. This boat has eight cabins on the lower deck, two located on the upper deck and one cabin on the main deck. Each cabin has a private bathroom, mini bar, and air-conditioning. The indoor saloon has an A/V entertainment system, and the library is filled with marine life books, perfect for bookworms.
There is a spacious open-air saloon and bar on the upper deck. It is a perfect place for relaxing and socialization. The top deck has an outdoor lounge and a sun deck, a nice place to watch the first glimpse of the morning sun. Guests can also share photographs of their adventures to their loved ones back home with the free use of Wi-Fi on board.
The chef on board prepares buffet-style meals that vary from local and international cuisines together with complimentary drinks. Each dish has its unique, fresh ingredients that guests will surely enjoy. Snacks are available in between meals to give tourists stamina for any onboard and underwater activities. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase aboard. Guests can add other specific dietary requirements on their special booking request.
The large platform and dive deck has enough space for every diver to move around while preparing for the dives. It has ample gear storage, warm water showers, and separate rinse hoses for underwater equipment. This vessel has two air compressors and once compressor nitrox membrane. Nitrox is free of charge for those with certification. Rental diving equipment is available on board. M/Y Dolce Vita has complete boat navigation and safety equipment to ensure safe expeditions.
Snorkeling is available for non-divers to add a great deal of experience for their safari holiday.
The crew team will welcome each guest with complimentary drinks and snacks upon checking in. Introductions and briefing are given to help guests with their questions before the boat leaves.
Fury Shoals is a perfect dive spot for new and advanced scuba divers. The reef system is suitable for shore diving, boat excursion, and liveaboards. The reef system has a better condition than up north, with corals in different areas. Months of September to November are best to visit Fury Shoals. Dive to the famous marine parks of the Red Sea and see the beautiful reefs and walls of The Brothers. The legacy of British rule is hard to miss when looking at the Victorian stone lighthouse. Ras Mohammed National Park is famous for drift diving, and there are abundant coral formations covered by alcyonarians and gorgonians. A massive number of pelagic fish, gray sharks, hammerhead sharks, mantas, turtles, school of fish and other marine life can be spotted in these areas.
M/Y Dolce Vita travels the Red Sea throughout the year, and we recommend tourists to visit from April to October to get the utmost of their holiday.
