Diving on the Damai I in Indonesia
Boat Features
Built in 2009, this vessel that measures 40 meters/131 feet long valiantly cruises with a top speed of 7 knots. Luxury offerings include a laundry service and daily housekeeping – assuring its guests that hygiene is well-taken cared of.
The vessel has three spacious decks, which guests can utilize for both under-the-sun relaxation or shaded comfort. Onboard massage and spa can be availed for more relaxing experiences. The saloon is one fine area where guests can watch their favorite movies. Anywhere within the vessel, a Wi-Fi connection is enabled to give guests the confidence that they can still be connected to the online world.
The Cabins
Luxury accommodation is all that guests can expect on board the Damai I. There are 7 staterooms, all of which are air-conditioned.
On the lower deck are two single cabins with double beds and two double queen-size bed cabins which can be configured as double or as twins. All of these cabins are spacious and have provisions of en-suite bathrooms as well as portholes.
Located on the bridge deck is a double queen or twin bed cabin. Like the lower deck cabins, it has also an en-suite bathroom and portholes.
The vessel has two master cabins, one of which is a 40-square meter room located on the lower deck. The other one is situated on the main deck and measures 35 square meters. Both have king size beds or can be configured with two single beds each. Individual air conditioning controls, en-suite bathrooms, and panoramic windows are provided.
Food and Beverage
A luxury cruise is not complete without the best-tasting foods to complement. The Damai I lets its guests feel that they are in a 4-star restaurant through its elegantly designed dining area with world-class eyesights of the sea views.
Its onboard chef knows the importance of having the best-sourced ingredients to prepare satisfying dishes. To make this possible, ingredients are regularly stocked in advance prior to each sail.
There are three gourmet meals served a day, either of Western cuisine or of local flavor. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. For special dietary requirements, advanced notices upon booking should be made.
There are also snacks served in-between the full meals allowing the guests to re-energize for a day’s load of dives and other activities.
Beverages are also diverse with free soft drinks all day. Wine can be served for free during dinner. For other choices of local beers and fine wines, the bar is a place to hangout for some chilling time.
Itineraries
Damai I offers luxury cruise to the best dive sites of Indonesia particularly within the routes of Raja Ampat, Triton Bay, and Komodo. Cruises run on average of 7 nights and are offered all year round. There are land excursions included in each cruise, letting guests set foot on some remote beaches and tribal villages. Other water activities like snorkeling and fishing form part of the cruise activities ensuring its guests a wonderful time and magical moments on this amazing luxury liveaboard.
