Vessel Features
Contessa Mia was launched in the year 2006. It is a wooden vessel specifically designed to provide luxury to its users. In its 34 meter stretch, the vessel is large enough for 22 guests on board. It has free Wi-Fi for guests to use, has modern facilities and amenities, safety equipment, spacious cabins and saloon, sun decks, and dive decks.
In between dives or during night time, guests may stay in Contessa Mia’s air-conditioned saloon. It is a spacious lounge equipped with comfortable sofas, tables, and chairs. It features modern television sets, entertainment systems like computers, DVD, and stereos. It also has books and updated magazines and newspapers.
If you are looking for an open area while enjoying the salty air and the beautiful red sea, you may opt to stay in Contessa Mia’s featured sun deck. It is located in the upper deck, with some part of it shaded; there you will find sun loungers, tables, and chairs. The dive deck is spacious enough for the divers to prepare and maintain their gears and equipment. Storage boxes for gears, hanging area for dive suits, charging ports for your gadgets, rinsing tanks, and safety equipment are available in the area. It has a convenient dive platform for everyone’s handiness. Contessa Mia is a tech diving friendly vessel, with nitrox and diving equipment available for a minimal fee.
In the boat, safety is ensured with the internationally accredited safety equipment. All of the necessary safety materials are on board, including oxygen, first aid kits, life jackets, emergency rafts, and fire fighting equipment. Fire extinguishers are also available in each cabin and in the saloon.
The Cabins
Contessa Mia features a total of 11 cabins, which can house up to 22 guests. There are 9 twin-bed cabins located in the lower deck, and two in the upper deck. All of the cabins are equipped with en suite bathroom facilities and an air conditioning unit.
Dining
Guests will feast on the international cuisine that is served. In buffet style, guests will have three meals a day while enjoying the sights of the Red Sea in panoramic views. Throughout the day, snacks and drinks like coffee and soda are served free of charge.
Itinerary
Guests may opt to take the Northern route for the world-renowned diving sites such as the Thistlegorm and Abu Nuhas ship graveyard. In the south to discover St. Johns and be mesmerized with hammerheads in the area, or in the triangle to visit Daedalus, Elphinstone and Brother Islands. It is where the famous marine parks are located, where one could enjoy the range of colorful reefs, soft and hard corals, and numerous marine life species.
