Calico Jack Liveaboard

Calico Jack liveaboard is a beautiful 30m (98.4 feet) traditional hand-made Indonesian sailing boat. Being created from the finest tropical hardwoods to the highest standards, one thing you will easily notice is the effortless blend between the best of traditional furnishings with modern amenities and safety features. Built-in 2014 as a classic phinisi schooner and refurbished annually, this liveaboard can expertly handle the sometimes-rough Indonesian waters.

No matter if you are on a journey of discovery or relaxation to fantastic ‘castaway’ islands, Calico Jack aims to create one intimate connection among people, nature, and wildlife.

Calico Jack Interior and Features

Calico Jack offers five luxury en-suite air-conditioned cabins. With room for only 10 guests on board, there is plenty of room for other activities this yacht is offering. Two of the rooms are equipped with double beds, while an additional two are equipped with convertible beds that can suit either for double or twin occupancy. The last one is a twin cabin. All boat’s staterooms have private bathrooms, individual AC units, as well as fans to ensure the right comfort for any of the guests.

During the cruise, guests can have access to two dining areas, one indoors and one outdoors. There is also a spacious saloon, where guests can enjoy the TV and DVD-player, or the computer and sound system if needed. The spacious sundeck, equipped with bean bags and sun loungers, is perfect for any sun-seeker looking for good tanning, relaxing with a book or just taking a breezy nap in between meals and dives. For photography and video lovers, there is a camera and photography station with special storage for underwater camera set-ups.

Diving Deck

The dive deck, however, is the true entertainment section. With 8 professional and friendly crew members there to take care of your every need, your diving vacation will be an unforgettable one. Professional and experienced instructors and guides provide each diver with a thorough briefing of the dive site as well as supervision on every dive. Two outboards are always ready to take anyone to the open sea dive sites. With 2 compressors on board, guests can expect to complete 3 to 4 dives per day, with possible night dives when the conditions are right. In addition, there are full sets of high-quality diving equipment available for rental. Snorkelers are also encouraged to join the trips, as the crew always looks to offer a variety of explorative options for anyone on board.

Food and Beverage

Calico Jack is well-equipped to keep guests full and happy during their trip on the high seas. A varied menu of Indonesian, Italian, Chinese and BBQ dishes are offered during the cruise. Each morning starts with a light breakfast made of coffee, tea, and toast and a full breakfast, cooked to order, following the first dive. The day follows with lunch and a 3-course dinner. Biscuits, toast, coffee, tea, fruit juice, and drinking water are always available throughout the day.
