Vessel Features
Blue Melody is a wooden vessel that was designed to provide luxury and convenience to its users. It measures 38 meters long and 8.3 meters wide, housing a total of 13 cabins perfect for 26 guests, an air-conditioned salon, sun decks, and a dive deck.
The salon is air-conditioned and equipped with entertainment systems, a modern television set, comfortable sofas, tables, and chairs. A hard drive complete with TV series and movies is also available for the guests’ convenience. It even has its very own boat library so everyone can enjoy books, magazines, or other reading materials while cruising the Red Sea. In here, guests may enjoy the comfort during night time, in between dives, or anytime they prefer.
For guests who love to stay out in the sun, feeling the salty air breeze and the magnificent views of the Red Sea, they may stay in the featured sun decks both available in the lower and upper decks. Both sun decks have shaded areas, sun lounges, and comfortable table and chairs. Guests will definitely enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the Red Sea in the upper deck.
Blue Melody has a spacious dive deck, equipped with storage boxes for divers’ gears and equipment, private lockers, charging stations, hanging area, and freshwater showers. The dive deck is spacious for the divers’ convenience in preparing for their diving session or the aftercare. Blue Melody is rebreather friendly, and if you are EANx certified, you may use the Nitrox onboard for a fee.
If you are concerned about safety, you don’t have to fret. Blue Melody is complete with all necessary safety equipment and adheres to the international standards for a safe trip. Emergency rafts, life vests, first aid kit, oxygen, fire fighting equipment, and fire alarms are available onboard. Fire extinguishers are also available in each cabin and in the salon.
The Cabins
All of the cabins are equipped with air conditioning units and en suite bathroom facilities; 10 twin sized cabins are all located in the lower deck, while the other 3 are equipped with double-sized beds and are situated in the upper deck and in the main deck. The spacious cabins are perfect for couples, guaranteeing a comfortable sleep with the expensive bed installed.
Dining
All guests may enjoy the international cuisine served on board. It comes in three buffet-style meals a day and an afternoon snack. The dining area is carefully situated for guests to be able to enjoy the panoramic views of the Red Sea. Light snacks and different kinds of beverages are also available throughout the day, all free of charge.
Itinerary
Visit the Rosalie Moller and Abu Nuhas, which are deemed to be a beginner and intermediate diver friendly, as they are located in a much shallower site compared to other diving sites in the Red Sea. Also, guests may visit the famous wrecks of Thistlegorm in the Red Sea, the most famous wreck in Egypt that has sunken in 1945 while trying to navigate the sea to deliver guns and equipment to Suez. Since it has sunken, it stayed in the bottom of the sea, covered with numerous corals, and if you have an advanced certification, you may dive to explore the sunken ship!
